This 130 year old hotel is on the main street of cygnet in the huon valley. The pub offers food, alcohol and accommodation. There is also some gambling if you like that. They are in the process of renovating the upstairs rooms and it is coming along nicely. Or room was very cute in the old style but only had...

We went for the first time to the Cygnet Commercial Hotel and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the menu was extensive. I recommend the salmon patties, which were genuinely made from fresh salmon. The wines were very reasonably prices. But best of all was the fruit salad. It contained a big bowl of blueberries, banana slices and...

Great food! Pretty good menu and prices! Good atmosphere, popular with locals and tourists alike. You can eat outdoors - but the wind might change your mind. Seafood Chowder is superb! Finish with their Sticky Date Pudding!!

We met here with family for a meal and everything was delicious. We had seafood and parmigiana meals which were well cooked. They gave us a takeaway box to take home the leftovers - the servings are large. They have local ciders too.

This hotel had a very friendly atmosphere with a good menu. Servings were large and the menu surely caters for all tastes. I happened to mention I liked a particular wine which was not on the wine list and was happily advised to check out the hotel's bottle shop and find something I liked. I did and was charged NO...

Top service and excellent pub meals. Recommend the crumbed scallops. Large serving sizes, none of our group could finish their meals. Nice spot for families to stop for a meal if travelling around the district. Cygnet is a lovely town to visit.

We ate here for the 3 nights we were in Cygnet. By our second night here. Our favourite table was reserved for us when we arrived, right in front of a beautiful fire & they made us a special share platter. Feeling very spoilt by these fabulous Cygnet locals. This was a great find in a lovely friendly town

Attended the commercial hotel, food was fantastic! Found the price of meals a little on the high size for pub meals but could not fault the staff or service. The sticky date pudding was Devine, will definitely come back again. The children's meals were only around the $10 price bracket. Our chicken parmigiana's were around $26 from memory. Great selection...

My husband and I often travelled down to this pub for their fantastic lunch deals that were only around $10. They had the most extensive menu we had ever seen for a pub. The food was really good and hearty, especially the scallops. We have since attended twice and it obviously has changed hands in this time. The meals are...

This is a classic Aussie pub that delivers a 'great stay' experience and hearty, delicious hotel food and top hospitality. There's no frills with the accommodation (first floor, upstairs from the pub), with comfy beds and cosy rooms. The only really traditional thing is - there's a shared bathroom ... but its a bathroom well positioned for all the rooms....
