We stayed in a standard cabin for 2 nights when our caravan was being repaired the cost $120.00 per night. The cost was very pricey for a tired old cabin very much in need of repair. Issues for us poor condition of some of the walls in bathroom, the loose bathroom basin, lack of room in the toilet, sewage smell when turning on...

For the price, I expected a bit more. I'm not fussy, but when the towel rail has been rescrewed to the back of the bathroom ten times and is still falling off because the door is falling apart, then you know they are not spending any money on this facility. Then there were the ants... two days later and even...

A nice site close to the ferry terminal! A large grass space for tents, Caravan area, cabins available! Shower block is really clean and new! Camp kitchen is rustic and funky! Laundry facilities! $26 for two of us in an unpowered tent site!

We stayed in a cabin at this caravan park. The cabin was old and it was indeed showing its age. We were a little concerned about security of the front door. But, it was clean and tidy and all necessary items were available. The park as a whole was a little run down, but it had a fantastic position on...

Being relatively new to the whole camping experience we decided to 'glamp' it up a bit and hire an R.V/camper van. Being self-contained led to a lot of free camping. However, it soon became apparent that every now and again there was a need to book into somewhere with all the amenities available. Hotel Abel Tasman was one of the...

Handy for ferry and clean amenities block. Some noise from the surrounds as close to the city. Open camping areas for unpowered sites are closer to the beach/water views. Need a key for amenities block which is a bit old school really. Close by some basic cafes for breakfast at good rates.

Short walk to ferry to get across to the city and short walk to Spirit of Tasmania terminal. Shops with everything we needed close by. Beach out...

We have our own caravan so we just had a powered site. Cabins look ok from the outside. The amenities have recently been updated so very clean and good to use. The park is quite large with plenty of trees and grassy spots. Good for all ages, kids can go to the beach or playground which backs onto the park....

Only 4 minutes away from the ferry. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Even though the buildings may look tired, both amenities blocks were clean with one being recently updated. There are a small row of shops down the road... IGA open till 9pm, butchers, bakery etc... The major supermarkets Coles and Woolworths open to 10pm are approx...

Great self-contained accommodation units, with plenty of open space, proximity to the shore and children playground equipment. The only problem is that the town center is not easily accessible from here.
