Gorgeous accommodation right on the water. We stayed in the Tasmanian Oak room which was a studio with extra bedroom. Great little place to stay very quiet and clean and perfect access to places like Tahune Airwalk and Hastings Caves. The only downside to the area is there were no coffee shops!

Thanks for your review Claire We certainly could use more coffee shops in the area although we do have the lovely Thelma Retreat open Sunday through Thursday and Abby's Coffee open Thursday-Monday. Hope you enjoyed the Airwalk and the Caves!

This stay was lovely. We had a studio cottage just about on the water, the views were beautiful. Called in without a booking and were accommodated without any hassle. Lovey unit and friendly staff. The area is so pretty with the most amazing clear waters. The one recommendation would be to take prepared food as eating places are scarce.

We stayed in Houn cottage. Tiny but open plan so it didn't feel too cramped. Just right for two people. The view was straight onto the bay and delightful. We were jet lagged and up from 3 am watching the sun rise over the water. There are huge patio doors onto a veranda which we opened and the silence was...

The cottage are modern with great views. Although the whether was not great. Staying at the cottages so lovely. We could watch the rain and wind make lots of changes to the view of the bay. They are spacious and Family friendly. Close to all the spot you need to visit while you are in the area.

This is an outstanding location and the studio we are in is fully fitted with everything one might want. We like the small sit out verandah and the bbq. Comfy and fully fitted with stove and micro for cooking. One downside is you cannot buy seafood in Dover so bring it from Hobart Crazy

Lovely cottage, fully equipped and finished in beautiful native timber. Fabulous views. Really appreciated the extra breakfast with local produce. Thanks Maree. Very warm and comfortable with underfloor heating. Worth noting that nothing is open on a Monday night for meals but Maree suggested the Southport Tavern (actually listed everywhere as Southport Hotel and Caravan Park on the web and...

Very comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean and the views are to die for. If Tasmania were closer I would visit here every year. It is a small community but there is a supermarket and an RSL club where you can eat. The drive to Dover from Hobart has some glorious scenery, so what's not to like? My only critisism...

Highly recommended! We had studio-type accommodation with an attached separate bedroom with two more (single) beds, but as it was only two of us, this allowed us to spread out more! The room was very well equipped for a self-catering visit (Loved the little Weber BBQ on the balcony) and the view across Port Esperance was breathtaking - we sat...

We only stayed here one night on our way to Researche Bay, but found it very comfortable, clean, quiet and with great views. An easy walk to the jetty as well as the centre of Dover. Would stay again.
