Wow, we felt like we were in early 19th century England when visiting and learning about this incredibly manor. It was extremely fascinating and the guides were very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend visiting this beautiful property!

We visited this place on our drive down from Launceston to Hobart. Need to pay a modest fee which is reasonable to help maintain the property. Very helpful and knowledgable staff on site to share the history of the place to bring a sense of what things were like there a long time ago. Definitely would recommend stopping here for...

Although there were incomplete rooms, the grandure of the building and it's surrounds made the drive worthwhile. It was a hot day so we missed walking around the surrounds and it's buildings. Even so, the walk around the three stories of this convict built building was worth the modest fee of entry.
