A lovely little cabin with awesome views out to sea over the Friendly Beaches. Absolute peace & quiet with the local wallabies happy to join you when you're out on the deck. The cabin itself isn't large but it's well stocked with everything needed and the kitchenette is large enough to prepare a decent meal if you don't wish to...

Philippa and Virginia were informative and welcoming probably in reverse order. This is a fabulous setting and a wonderful experience. No enough stars to describe. It is self catering so you need a bit of planning but that is half the fun. Thoroughly enjoyable, national park close by get there early if a busy time

Be prepared for a long journey off the beaten track when you arrive at the retreat. But when you do, it is well worth the drive - you feel as if you are the only people for miles. It is totally secluded and absolutely beautiful. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and it's...

Yes, it is a 4km drive from the highway to the accommodation, but most guests find that experience part of the excitement and well worth it. The clue is, after all, in the name… With regards to the shower – it’s a real shame that you didn’t mention the problem that you were having with the shower during your stay,...

We stayed two nights in an eco-cabin. From the outside these look very plain (we jokingly called it 'the shed') but inside the design is superb. Everything is very well thought-out. Extremely comfortable bed. Very quiet environment, and a lovely ocean view. Lots of wallabies to be seen in the car park too. The gravel road to the property is...

This is a lovely place to stay if you like peace and quiet, beautiful views, wildlife encounters and comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Opposite the marine farm for great shellfish and close to the National Park for walks and views.

Peaceful, relaxing and amazing sea views all make this retreat very special in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The studio accommodation which sits on top of the mountain allows you to see the amazing sea views from almost every part of the tastefully decorated modern accommodation. The king bed with its pristine linen is the most comfortable...

Very new studio lodges overlook the ocean and provide for a tranquil setting for relaxation and quiet time. Hosts were wonderful and helpful and offered practical advice around the area. Load of wildlife roam around the property and the area is a lesson on how destructive man can be towards the environment. Happily the retreat is providing an opportunity to...

From the moment we arrived at the clearly sign-posted turn-off to the closed gate and drove up the well maintained gravel road we knew we were in for something special. The cabins are small and a bit close together. The shower cubicle is a bit small. Otherwise this is a perfect get away bolt hole. The Friendly Beaches view from...

I highly recommend the Eco Retreat for anyone seeking a tranquil place with amazing views and wildlife all around. The picture here does not do this place justice. The views from our semi-private back porch overlooked the ocean from the top of a small mountain. We were surrounded by Tasmanian wildlife, and had evening visits from wallabies, wombats and deer....

We stayed 2 nights at the Eco Retreat and wish we could have stayed longer. We booked the Eco Studio before they had even been completed and the room exceeded our expectations by far. The studios are spacious, with a big comfortable bed, small kitchenette and modern bathroom. The layout of the room is amazing - nothing compares to waking...
