Just stayed at John and Rhondas holiday cottages over the weekend. We were two couples so booked both the cottages. We self catered 2 nights and ate out the other 2. You need to do your shopping in Currie as there are no shops in Narracoopa. Being on the east side of the island it is about an hours drive...

Thank you Anne, Glad you all enjoyed your stay. We agree, there is a great contrast here on laid back King Island and the busy mainland - just the way we like it.

Beautiful setting, accommodation quirky but all mod cons that you could need. John and Rhonda, great hosts very informative and helpful. Lots of good walks nearby and while it was a bit chilly for swimming when we were there, the beaches are pristine and the water crystal clear. Beautiful food at the various eateries. Sitting on the porch and eating...

Situated on the quieter, less windy side of King island, right on the ocean, the location is very relaxing. A great place to wind down before tackling the spectacular golf courses, great beaches and experiencing the very friendly local culture of King island. Our hosts were very informative, attentive and friendly.

Had a memorable time and the cottage we stayed in (Blue Wren) had everything including an amazing view of the water. Very clean and tidy and comfortable. John and Rhonda were the perfect hosts and I would not have a problem recommending the cottages. The cottages are set in a well kept garden with a great view of the sea,...

Thanks for staying with us and we're glad you enjoyed King Island and especially your cottage. We agree that it's probably the best located accommodation on the island and it's nice sitting on the verandah with a little wine and cheese taking it all in. We look forward to your next visit.

We traveled to King Island with friends, we stayed at the Blue Wren Cottage and our friends stayed at the Wattlebird Cottage at the Naracoopa Holiday Village. The cottages are very well kept, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Across the road from the cottages is a beautiful beach and a jetty just up the road, where we spent a lovely...

John and Rhonda were excellent hosts and provided everything in their charming seaside cottages needed for our stay! We enjoyed coming back to our little home after each day trip around the island; sitting, eating cheese and chatting about our adventures whilst soaking up those blissful views! It was a great place to share with good friends...we booked both cottages....

Vicki C, Thanks for your great review , we noticed you enjoyed some of the delicious King Island cheeses and a little glass of something after a day out sight-seeing, that's the King Island way. The Salmon you caught was a beauty, well done. See you next time

In booking our recent trip to King Island, we were lucky enough to stumble across Blue Wren Cottage. The cottage is no resort. It's a simple but quirky, fully self-contained one bedroom cottage, with all the facilities you will need for a prolonged stay, and the most comfortable bed to sleep on. John and Rhonda, the owner/managers have thought of...
