Warm comfortable units, recently been refurbished to a high standard. Helen and Michael great hosts. Nothing was to much trouble and Helen cooked good wholesome meals. The bar has a lovely wood burning stove which keeps it cosy.

Friends and I used this accommodation for a 2 night stopover when we were walking this section of the Tasmanian Trail. We were thrilled with both the standard of accommodation and wonderful meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation in two family cabins was just right for our group of seven - very clean and freshly renovated.

This was a warm and welcoming place with a wonderful friendly service. The meal was great and the atmosphere was genuine. It was nice to be served with such friendly banter and real country hospitality. Reading other reviews it seems some of the rooms are renovated but unfortunately ours was not. The heater/air con was new but the rest of...

A central location for exploring the Great Lake and surrounds. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the meals were excellent and actually rather large for us - too much of a good thing! The cabin we stayed in was good, comfortable and fairly quiet except for the possum running around at 3 am! Still, it's nice to have the wildlife...

We stayed in a newly renovated room. Everything was new, matched and modern and exceptionally nice. The bedroom and bathroom were both a good size. We were provided with a breakfast basket even though we did not ask for it. Meals in the restaurant were a good size. The wifi was flaky on a windy night.

This motel has altered somewhat over the years. The Chesterfield style couches have been gone for some time, but it retains the fishing lodge ambience, with trout prints and wall fixtures. Recent improvements to the rooms include new A/C split units (quiet and very effective) and the bathrooms have been redone. The food is standard pub fare and good, although...
