We arrived after dark and had to leave the next morning. We hope we have spent more time to enjoy the nice environment here. Not a big place. It has a small creek running through the property. Rumour says you'll get to see platypus if you're lucky. The view towards Mount Roland is awesome. The amenities are quite basic, but...

We revisited Mole Creek caravan park a second time because we enjoyed it so much. There's not many places you can light your own campfire beside a happily bubbling brook with the option to plug into power to access the mod-cons. Since new management took over things have apparently improved a lot. The facilities were clean, people friendly, and it...

We are always pleased when visitors enjoy the campsite so much, they want to return. Thank you very much for writing a review and we are glad that you enjoyed your visits to the park. A campfire by the creek is certainly a favourite with many people.

What a great park this is. The caretaker was friendly and helpful, and we had a site plenty large enough for us. A little stream runs through the park and there are plenty of trees for shade. A great place to base ourselves for the lovely area around - Sheffield, Railton and Deloraine. I wish we were still there!

We arrived later than anticipated and are disappointed we missed a few hours at this lovely park! The amenities are on the smaller side but kept spotless, the creek side setting is absolutely lovely and we had a peaceful night's sleep. What more could you ask for? The only negative is that I didn't get to see the platypus. Maybe...

Thanks for writing about your overnight stay at Mole Creek Caravan Park. We hope you can return for a longer time in the future and have a chance to see a platypus skimming through the water or an echidna waddling along the creek bank. Glad you enjoyed your night.

Lovely Campsites by the creek and clean amenities. Excellent price for a family and even though it was peak time Jill was very considerate of our requests. This is a welcoming and safe place for children.

Beautiful, quiet location. Amenities were were rustic but clean and had everything you needed. Free firewood at fireplaces. Tranquil camp sites along the creek with cows in the adjacent paddocks and deer in the evening across the road. The caretaker was extremely helpful and really lovely.

What a gem of a park and am sorry we couldnt stay longer than 3 nights. Clean, tidy and ever so peaceful even when full. I found only having 1 washing machine was a bit of a hassle as people came in and wanted to wash straight away but that was the only thing as no one could help the...

This was a great find on our campervan adventure. The park is located along a beautiful creek with resident platypus. Despite the popularity it has managed to maintain a beautiful thick green lawn throughout (which was lovely after lots of parks with dirt and gravel) and there are fireplaces all along the creek. Jill, the park caretaker was lovely and...

Great Park will come back, stayed 3 days, Jill very helpful works around park keeping it in clean condition. We were very lucky to get in, all site booked and people turned away, would be nice if the wifi had a bigger area as you need to go to Jill reception area all the time, Telstra very patchy

Thanks for the five star rating and for your comments regarding your stay at the park. We are always glad when people enjoy themselves. Yes, it pays to book ahead if possible as the park is very popular. We are aware of the Wifi coverage problem and are hoping that this will be rectified in the near future.
