we stayed in the music room in one of these cute cottages in the lovely town of Ross. Although the host was charming, this was a a very average b&b experience. The queen size four poster bed was comfortable but in a smallish room overcrowded with furniture. The breakfast was so disappointing. Tasmanian produce is famously delicious and available everywhere,...

Absolutely beautiful with it's stone walls and colonial character, felt like we were living in another time. The open fire, four poster bed and antique furniture felt like grandma's house. We took our little dog who was allowed to sleep inside on his bed. The Ross hotel just down the road had the best meals and there is a wood...

We had pre-booked accommodation at Christopher Hall’s Colonial Accommodation but 3 weeks after we had booked and while we were on holiday they sent us an email saying they were double booked and our booking would not be honored. Obviously we were not impressed but it worked to advantage. We managed to secure accommodation with Colonial Cottages of Ross which...

Very well presented, felt like turning back the clock 100 years! Located close to shops and cafe, and strolling distance to most attractions. I would recommend Cupid's Nest to anyone looking for a version of our early history with niche modern comforts.

Was great that there were separate bedrooms. Bathroom was a little small but still usable. Rooms were neat and tidy and prices were very reasonable. Was ideally located so that we could walk through the town and stop for coffee or dinner on the way. Beautiful town.

Very comfortable. Stayed 2 nights. As owner isn't present breakfast is left in fridge. We were misinformed as to the room we were in and others had taken part of our breakfast. Had to leave msge for owner ....no response. Not major...but annoying. You pay for a service and expect to receive it Room comfortable. Not serviced for second night....

Stayed one night in the Music room - shabby chic bed uncomfortable and squeaky. Tv poorly positioned on wall behind the door. En suite shower cubicle tiny don't be overweight if staying here. Continental breakfast a joke - frozen bread with margerine , choice of two cereals and who knows what the milk was?.. Would not recommend or stay again...

We stayed in this delightful self contained accommodation for one night. The room we had was the Music Room and we found it to be very comfortable with a great bed, quality linen and adjoining bathroom. The B&B also has other rooms for guests and the light and sunny breakfast room (even in winter) was a terrific area to enjoy...

We stayed in 'The Music Room' which had crisp cotton bedding, very comfortable bed and all the bits and pieces that a thoughtful host would provide.High standard of cleanliness too. Continental breakfast was DIY, which is great because you are not tied to set times.. You can use the microwave in the airy, light dining room for a meal in...

Hudson cottage is in itself reasonable, comfortable and cosy with plenty of wood for the fire, electric blankets and a serviceable bathroom. It was clean and the basics were there however a few more pots would make cooking a bit easier we had booked for 3 nights. The really disappointing thing is although the property is up for sale and...
