Ross Motel is tucked away behind the main street opposite the Macquarie River and a short walk from the famous bridge which was built in 1936. The rooms are very comfortable, complete with two lounge chairs and a dining table. In the entrance there is a fridge and microwave which is where they stored the cutlery and crockery in case...

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. What a beautiful spot to stay at by the river. Also the Ross village is lovely and the bakery makes fresh pies and cakes daily. The Ross motel had lots of different accommodation options from motel rooms, family rooms with kitchen facilities and shared amenities block and camp sites powered and unpowered.

Met by friendly helpful hosts - thank you for helping with the wine selection! Motel was clean, warm with plenty of blankets, pillows and extras such as heater and electric blanket should we need it. Wonderfully quiet in a beautiful location. Ross motel has pretty gardens - matches what you find in the townsite. Pub in town had homely meals...

Was on holiday in Tassie and the forecast indicated 40mm of rain. Accommodation on the coast was $270 a night. Got on google and found the Ross Motel. What a great find. The owners wers friendly and inviting, the cottages were top notch and the rate half of the cost of a room on the coast. The rooms were beautiful...

The owners are most welcoming and helpful. Our room was immaculately clean with all the facilities we could hope for. We were traveling from Launceston to Hobart and found this the ideal motel to base yourself and explore the lovely village of Ross.

The check in was very quick and friendly. We had booked a 2 bedroom unit. It was spacious. Good white fluffy towels and toileteries were a relief after the lack of it in other stays in Tasmania. We stayed only for a single night unfortunately. Breakfast was included.
