Was a little concerned when booked a cottage as we had a really bad experience with another cottage on our trip. Could not have been more wrong. We stayed in Rosebank cottage with another couple. Cottage was very clean and peaceful. Cottage fully contained with fresh bread on arrival. Lovely grounds and laundry facilities behind the cottage. Close to smithton...

What a lovely experience. Friendly, personal welcome with help in booking for a local restaurant. The cottage (we stayed in the Rosebank) and the garden was awesome: very country-cottage feel to it. Rooms were great. The host had given us a fresh loaf of bread, together with different spreads. Kitchen has full cooking facilities. Beautiful, and well worth the visit.

We stayed at Rosebank, one of the two cottages at the out of town location. Pretty quick drive into Smithton for the IGA or takeaways, and closer to The Nut compared to staying in Smithton. Lovely cottage, and a wonderful touch having a loaf of home made bread waiting for us, and some milk (must have been close to a...

We booked well in advance the Rosie townhouse. Advertised as modern, superbly appointed, top class linen etc etc. Didn't hear from the owner about accessing key prior to arrival so gave her a call and spoke to her in person about our booking at the TOWNHOUSE, yes booking confirmed and Rose would send us the code for the key pad...

unable to get into Stanley because of the fires, we were directed to this delightful cottage up the road. Hostess was lovely and the cottage beautiful. The spa/shower could be difficult to access if elderly or disabled. Lovely fresh baked bread on arrival.

We stayed in the Rosebud Cottage. Comfortable accommodation although the décor may not suit all tastes. Kitchen lacks a couple of essential utensils eg tongs and egg lifter. Spa/shower is great but could be difficult for some people to access. Fresh crusty bread on arrival is delicious. Organisation was a little lacking. We had booked for four nights but were...

We had high expectations from the descriptions and the reviews, but found it to be even better. A wonderful place and the 2 bedroom cottage was superb, just what we needed - well equipped and nothing overlooked. We had a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.

Could not express how much we enjoyed staying at Rosebank Cottage. We stayed 2 nights in the one bedroom & spa cottage, everything was so clean & fresh. Bed was very comfortable, and all needs catered for. We were sorry we couldn't have had this quality all over Tassie when we visited in September 2015. Would highly recommend to family...

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is here. Loved our cottage for two. No detail has been overlooked. Would stay there again without hesitation. Gorgeous gardens in a lovely peaceful setting. The cottages are midway between Stanley and Smithton, about 9kms in either direction. Smithton is more commercial and a short drive to pick up any supplies you need...
