Turned up wet and cold after a 250Km ride in torrential rain from Burnie through the Welborough Pass, to be greeted at reception by a lovely young Lass, who couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms (bathroom) had had a make over and a hot hi pressure shower was welcomed! Down stairs and t possibly the only criticism was one poor...

In dire need of a renovation Rooms are old and tired and need to be cleaned thoroughly kids jigsaw pieces under the bed and verandah full of dust and cobwebs. Staff were pleasant but thats it, young man in bar was the only standout in customer service. Food was good.

It's a hotel, not a motel, & certainly not a resort! It's a little old but I thought it was a quaint hotel with a fantastic view! I got one of the top floor rooms with a renovated bathroom, the view was excellent and the rooms surprisingly quiet and I had guests either side of me. Bed was too firm...

Travelling with our grand daughter during cold weather we wanted a heated pool, a playground, walking distance to shops, clean facilities and friendly staff. Bayside Inn met all these requirements easily. The large playground was opposite the motel, with lots diverse equipment and the pool was in the next building - very easy to get to. The room was not...

We had dangerous heater wich was not tagged, had broken corner, broken cord and modified switch. After I asked twice it was replaced by a modern looking heater but again without tag. Room had 2 windows, bot had view of the walls and nothing else. Our room had two doors, none of them could be locked from inside. Staff member...

The accommodation is definitely no frills and very basic and a bit on the high side for what you get however I have a feeling that it is probably comparable to the area. The location is very central and within walking distance to most things. The bed was a tiny double about a foot off the ground however it proved...

Unrenovated Bayside is expensive for what it is, particularly in winter The main room was very spacious with a large window and good size fat screen. I had forgotten how cold the rooms are in winter though and I was tempted to open the window to let some heat in! The bed itself was great, firm mattress, clean, crisp sheets...

No frills motel centrally located near everything. It is "old" so nothing to look at. Tip reception is only avaliable for Telstra. Wifi is free and avaliable in the common areas. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Staff polite, room clean. The overpowering smell of deep fat fryer was distracting and one night was enough. The sliding door to the balcony was swollen and would not open more than a couple of inches so could not access fresh air.
