Excellent facilities, a very comfortable room which made us feel instantly at home and, most importantly, Bonnie, who is an absolute gem, and helped us sort out a few issues without making us feel unwelcome or stupid. A genuinely excellent experience to be highly recommended.

One of the best accommodation we stayed at during our 20 day tour around tassie. We had ground floor rooms, which had 2 lazy-boy type chairs, which was just great. Free use of washing machine was a great touch. Very friendly check in.

What a fantastic place to stay. We had room 7 which is up a very slight incline and there are about 2 steps to the veranda. The room is large with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, a great bathroom and large bedroom with full wardrobes. You actually could stay here much longer than our one night. There is a laundry...

This property is in a very good location with views of the bay from the top floor of a two story unit. All of the facilities were great, two toilets, kitchen and lounge upstairs. The welcome was warm with an informative list of highlights of the area. All good suggestions. If we come back to St Helens we would definitely...

What a very pleasant surprise to see how well appointed our unit was at Sweetwater Villas. We knew it was self contained, but it was good to find everything we required was there. Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, seperate toilet also. Upstairs, two very comfortable couches, dining table and chairs, full kitchen and full sized fridge, toilet, and the...

Thanks for staying with us! We love being just out of town, in a quiet cul-de-sac. Most of of guests do too. Glad to hear you had a lovely stay while you were here.

We had a two bedroom apartment which was nicely renovated upstairs with new furniture and a big HD TV and a view of the ocean from the balcony. Downstairs is still older style but clean and comfortable. The mattress on the bed was very soft. Great accommodation for the night though.

Thanks for your kind review. There are always ways to improve and renovations to be done so hopefully you get to visit again when we have completed renovating downstairs too! We hope you enjoyed your tassie travels.

This was a second visit here and it just was not that great. Sure the two bedroom setup was good for two couples but the bathroom noise certainly would wake us up. Very thin walls and noisy doors. The upstairs kitchen and lounge was ok. Apparently we were in a renovated unit but a budget renovation. An induction cooktop but...

Thanks for your constructive feedback, which we are using to improve our accommodation. We appreciate you letting us know as some guests don't notify us on problems and we find it hard to fix things that we don't know about! Just letting you know that our cooktops aren't induction, so we have the appropriate frypans and pots provided to match....

St Helens is a pretty town in coastal Tasmania. Sweetwater apartments are well situated with pleasant water views. The property is generally rather tired, reasonably clean, and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, though many of the items provided were not washed very well. Liquid soap provided in bathrooms. No other amenities such as shampoo ect. Towels clean but somewhat threadbare. There is...

Hi Judi and Jeff. Thanks for your review. St Helens is a great seaside town and the Sweetwater views do take advantage of it. Also in response to a few erroneous comments, we clearly advertise self contained apartments, not serviced apartments so it was disappointing you wished to protest the point with our cleaner and explain all your expectations which...

We have arrived to St. Helens absolutely drenched and all our motorbike gear was dripping with water. Sweetwater Villas not only allowed us to check in earlier so we don't have to wait till 2pm being cold and wet, but they also allowed us to use their commercial dryers and washing machines. The 2 story front unit was clean and...

We stayed in one of the single storey units. Although it was clean and well equipped, the room was definitely showing its age. The bathroom is a tight squeeze - a sliding door would be a better choice. The separate toilet is a plus. The reclining chairs were very comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful with advice on local...
