We loved our stay at Stanley. We spent most of our time at the beach and park next to the cemetery. The kids loved the play equipment and the facilities there were great. Most days we had picnics at the park. Our little cabin was comfortable and had everything you need. Food and service at the hotel was great. Beautiful...

The room is very nice, the bed is super comfortable and is a good size. The building is very old fashioned, the same as the town street which looks like it's from the very early 1900s and is in a very preserved condition. There's a big balcony for a few of the bedrooms and cute cafés around. The chairlift at...

Good, clean, well-sized room. Shared bathroom is clean and large with a few showers and toilets. Good location in town. Free WiFi. Provide lots of info on the town and other restaurants at which to eat. Room had a sink, so if you want to have a barby at a nearby park, you can wash up. Hotel pub is good,...

Stayed here for one night while in Stanley. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant served excellent meals but no breakfast. There were plenty of places to choose from in the main street anyway. Great stay.

Our family group was lucky enough to score a booking for Christmas lunch with an intimate group of diners at the historic Stanley Hotel. The sensational entree platters were large enough to satisfy our appetites alone with a tasty selection including local produce. This was followed by a choice of roast duck or barramundi, then a dessert selection of traditional...

This review is about one of the apartments that the hotel manages; since it doesn’t have a separate review page and the dining room of the hotel. In January 2016 we stayed at the Stanley Hotel and apartments; Pol n Pen. Our cottage was the “Pol” half of the name. Since Stanley is tiny, even though the cottage is a...

We had an excellent meal. The 'bistro' is not aptly named. A bistro is a small intimate venue serving moderately priced meals. This is a typical pub restaurant being a large room filled with tables and chairs plus a bar and food at reasonably high prices. The service was good and the food was excellent. I had a Cape Grim...
