Excellent so good we stayed longer than intended. We had stunning view of the bay from our bedroom. The food served here in the dining room was very good and a varied selection. We found the staff very willing nothing was too much trouble. This hotel was a good base to explore the area.

Tired after climbing the Nut? Spend the night in Stanley at the 'Village' : a down to the seaside dependance of Stanley hotel . Confortable rooms with Sea view, Worth every penny of it. And before sleeping have a walk to watch little penguins coming back home.

Stayed one night here and loved the place. Stanley is an amazing geographical part of Tasmania and the hotel is right in the centre, on the town side at the bottom of 'The Nut'. The hotel is a great looking old historic building but our upstairs en-suite room was in contrast and quite modern. Loved staying here. Had meal at...

This is a beautiful, gracious old Pub we spotted whilst up the nearby 'Nut'. The food is high quality restaurant fare within a casual, but still elegant, bistro. All five of our meals were great, and the local producers are respectfully acknowledged for the role they play in this, throughout the menu. I had a beautifully cooked cape grim steak...

We stayed at the Stanley Hotel for one night. It is conveniently located in the center of Stanley, just below "the Nut". We had a comfortable and quiet bedroom with an ensuite bathroom on the 1st floor of the hotel. The restaurant was very busy and lively. There were many food options, including vegetarian. There was no breakfast served in...

If on a budget can recommend Stanley Hotel budget rooms. Nothing fancy about them but they are spacious and clean. Shared bathroom with 3 other budget rooms. The showers are super clean in separate private cubicles. Meals at the pub are also good value.

Perfect on value, quality, space, facilities, customer service, noise level, privacy, location, everything! We stayed at Abbey's on Church three nights of our honeymoon and will always love Stanley and where we stayed there. We were just a two minute walk from our favourite beach and also the Nut, and some small cliffs where we went one night and saw...

We loved our stay at Stanley. We spent most of our time at the beach and park next to the cemetery. The kids loved the play equipment and the facilities there were great. Most days we had picnics at the park. Our little cabin was comfortable and had everything you need. Food and service at the hotel was great. Beautiful...

The room is very nice, the bed is super comfortable and is a good size. The building is very old fashioned, the same as the town street which looks like it's from the very early 1900s and is in a very preserved condition. There's a big balcony for a few of the bedrooms and cute cafés around. The chairlift at...
