We stayed here for a night on our way around Tas and were impressed with the quality of the room and the attention to detail to make guests welcome. Comfortable bed and great heating helped make the night cosy. Dinner in the adjoining restaurant was lovely, would recommend.

Excellent value for money - everything provided that you could think of, and more. Rooms were a good size, table and chairs, free wifi, comfortable beds, big bathrooms. Waterfront location and beautiful views from the bedroom windows.

Lovely welcome, beautiful accommodation. We were touring Tasmania and chose to stay here on my 70th birthday. Everything was perfect and our son in UK had liaised with our hosts and arranged with them to organise birthday surprises for me.

This place is easy to find being right on the waterfront overlooking the bay and under The Nut. The reception is in an old railway station building. We were greeted at reception by a very busy woman who took us to our room across the small carpark. We took an upstairs room with spa bath and view. A small and...

A warm, friendly welcome to a beautifully presented room with the waves lapping the shore, literally a few metres from your window. All you could hope for to make you feel at home. Sadly, I had no opportunity to try the restaurant, but heard good things from locals.

Only stayed here for 2 nights as we were touring around. Rooms good size, clean, tidy and bed was very comfortable. Had an upstairs room with lovely views across the bay. Sue was very helpful and nothing to much trouble. Food served in the restaurant was good. Set on the waters edge and close to a penguin colony, that was...

We stayed for 1 night and it suited our needs. It's an easy stroll away from the wharf for the seal cruise, the shops, cafes etc. We stayed downstairs in a queen room and it was clean, presentable and had tea, coffee, biscuits, complimentary chocolates and a sleep tight bag which had tea and ear plugs. We didn't need the...

Paid AUD 200.00 for one night. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and it the room is small but really nicely furnished and laid out with a lovely view over the water. Everything was very clean, there were some DVDs beside to TV to try if you so wished, but the Wifi was quite poor from most areas...

Ok, it doesn't look super flash, and it could be seen as dated in style, and you enter through an old railway station, but this was our nicest stay in Tasmania. It is spotless and has an array of treats provided by the caring owners to make you feel welcome. Rooms are of good size and the bed is luxurious....

When it comes to staying in Stanley, the only place to stay is on the waterfront at Stanley Village. Stanley Village is a boutique waterfront hotel and restaurant nestled under The Nut, within walking distance of activities in the township. THE BOND STORE restaurant is located in the historic bluestone building built in 1835 from ships ballast. Our fully licensed a-la-carte restaurant serves the finest in locally grown produce specialising in superb steak and succulent seafood.
