Do yourself a favour and book a couple of nights at the Arthur River Beach House. Very well equipped with all the comforts of home- even a dishwasher! Big fluffy towels, electric blankets, comfortable couches and dining room furniture. Plenty of crockery and cutlery ( a change from most s/c holiday accommodation) and good access to some interesting drives. The...

Been here before, just love it. Great site on Southside of Arthur river overlooking the beach. Will sleepn6 or more - everything there, towels, firewood, cooking utensils, salt and pepper. Limited supplies at store in Arthur River - though lady is very helpful - so stock up in Smithton. Very handy for Tarkine drive and exploring north west Tasmania. A...

Red boat cruise up the Arthur river. An excellent experience, mirror reflections for post card photos, great knowledgeable cometary by well versed bushmen, gr8 BBQ lunch in the rainforest. Well worth the effort to do the cruise. Adequate national park camping facilities - speak to Mel on the NP office for expert friendly advise.

We stayed three nights with another couple. The view of the river from the shack was magical with the ever changing light and moods. A couple of Pademelons visited us every night. The Edge of the World with the masses of massive drift wood is a sight to behold. The recent fires had burnt significant areas south of the town...

Loved this stay in the beach house at Arthur River. Has everything you need, and very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views and you can watch the sunset from the front verandah. Would be great for a family who loves to fish and just relax and do nothing much. A nice big spare room for kids to play around in if...

This place was a great find - in the middle of nowhere, but that's the attraction. The most wild & rugged place we've ever been. The house was great - very comfortable & total luxury.
