Totally in need of a makeover! However, really enjoyed the two nites we stayed, very homely and the owner was really nice and helpful, must have been a grand house in its day! Great views over the water. Breakfast was included, toast, juice and cereal. Heaps of parking. A five minute drive into town. Shabbily chic!

Only 3 minutes out of town in a peaceful spot. There are just 2 units with a garden. We had a 2 bedroom lodge with all facilities. We were provided with tea, coffee and milk. We took our own food but there are cafes in town.

Most of the places in Strahan are very expensive and this wasn't, but for a reason! The stand-in mamagers were friendly and helpful and worked hard, but this place looks like it hasn't been decorated for years and is suffering because of that. We were unable to use the drawers in the bathroom as they were very dirty, probably months...

We saw that this B&B Lodge got mixed reviews on Trip Advisor to say the least. It's a bit like marmite ( or vegemite here), you either love it or hate it. The building itself was an estate managers cottage which has been moved, lock, stock and barrel, from Gormaston to Strahan. That's a journey of nearly 60km. The road...

We stayed here as 6 people and we're charged as 6 people. It's fairly average and could do with a good clean especially the awful carpet in the bathroom. The views are nice. Dining room seats 4 so every meal was a bit cumbersome. Nice location.

The place it's self is well past it's use by date, so the place is more like staying at your grandmothers house. The owners don't stay onsite, so that's a bonus but the best thing about this property is the budget price for this overpriced township. The saying goes, you get what you pay for, so if you are on...

We stayed in the 'semi-detached' cottage. It is one end of the house and has its own kitchen. There was plenty of room. While I knew the decor was 'Nana', I was keen on the 'views from every room' and 'away from the hustle and bustle of Strahan' and 'nature of every kind' advertised. Sadly, the advertising didn't tell us...

Well we were pleasantly surprised. It's not perfect but reasonably priced. Magic view from cottage/cabin. Booked at last minute and was good choice. Well positioned just outside town centre. Would definitely stay here again when we next visit this part of the world.

Had booked for 2 nights online after looking at the property which we found smelly, primitive and very outdated. The owners were not available when we arrived and after contacting them via the intercom they advised we could cancel the booking at no charge.

Bay views from every room of this beautiful old historic home, quiet location just minutes from Strahan town centre. Large and comfortable rooms, well equipped with full sized kitchen and everything you need to self cater.
