Nice spot not right on Main Street. In opposite side of cove. Right near steam train so perfect for great pictures. Very old cabin but has been renewed a bit. New carpet etc. very clean and tidy. Bed very small but comfy and clean. That's perfect for tired travellers.

We were given a two bedroom unit at less than the price of a tiny cabin at the caravan park. It was quite 60s ish inside but tidy and very comfy. Felt like staying at Nanna's comfy and homey. Round table in bay window overlooking the bay, brass style bed with heaps of pillows, floral curtains and a bath! Unit...

We drove out to look at the scenic railway station, which is on the other side of the bay, and were pleasantly surprised to discover a hotel and bottle shop across the road. I had run out of beer - you don't want to be paying restaurant prices on a regular basis - and so went into the bottle shop...

You could be completely self-sufficient here. Our 'room' had kitchen, lounge, huge bathroom. All quite dated but clean and tidy. Right across the road from the heritage rail which would have been convenient if we were booked on it! On reflection, I would rather have stayed closer to town just for convenience sake. We could have walked places from here...

These villas were out-dated, reasonably clean and tidy with a good shower and comfortable bed. They provided all the necessities - full kitchen, kettle, toaster, microwave, air conditioner etc. We stayed two days. No room service as such. Just changed the towels. The location was beautiful. This property is the last on the Esplanade looking straight across Macquarie harbour to Strahan...

Tidy, spacious villa with the basics and a kitchen. Lots of room for a couple such as ourselves to spread out our luggage with the extra room of bunk beds. Great location, across the road from the Scenic Wilderness Railway Station. Overlooking Strahan and the harbour. Dinner and drinks on site at the tavern and bottle shop made this stay...

Stayed here before and after doing West Coast Wilderness train trip. Its right opposite Strahan station literally just a walk across the road. Staff very helpful and friendly. Villas self contained with all your need for a great stay and the Tavern is next door for great food if you dont feel like cooking. Beautiful view across Macquarie Harbour.

Four of us stayed in the Regatta Point Holiday Home, a three-bedroom house just up above the Regatta Inn Tavern. Great location, spacious house with well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, three huge bedrooms, bathroom and laundry. The outdoor deck was delightful and from most of the windows the views are of greenery which was lovely. We ate at the Tavern...

We had booked a unit at Regatta Point but due to the fridge not working we were moved to a nicer villa which we really appreciated. The view over the bay was wonderful for watching sunsets and so close to the hotel for a great meal and to just walk over the road to the railway station for our wonderful...

We stayed 2 nights at this place which has basic kitchenette facilities. The cabin has a spare double decker beds which will be good for family travelling with kids. It's located at the end of the road so it's nice and quiet. The wifi connection is only available at the tavern and restaurant and not the cabin. Simple and clean,...
