On the plus side with the view from the motel room over the river was very nice, the bed comfortable, and we loved our river cruise the next morning. We were however, a little disappointed that we were greeted (along with three later guests) by closed reception at 430pm on a weekday , and a simple sealed envelope with our...

Room was nice and clean but pretty old and tired. There was Limited hot water and no wifi in the room. Reception is only open for part of the day. Bed was comfortable and had extra pillows in the cupboard.

This place gave us a delightful view across the bay to the lights of Strahan. It was clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. A great way to enjoy a sunset! We didn't use the spa, but the bathroom was clean and modern.

Comfortable accommodation for the price. We enjoyed our stay, it was a good quiet place to rest at night. Pros: Great view, large room, free laundry, warm shower and kitchenette Cons: Dated decor and free wifi is not that great.

This place is situated beautifully on top of the hill overlooking the main hub of Strahan. Our room was very big and had a great big window overlooking the view. The TV was tiny and the linen/pillows really need updating. The place is a bit out of date.

The bed was Comfortable and the bathroom was a bit dated but nothing to complain about. The view was fantastic and its centrally located to the town. I will stay there again...

We stayed in the Sir John Suite and for our needs it was excellent. Crockery and cutlery were supplied but no cooking facilities which was fine for what we wanted. The room was meticulously cleaned and serviced every day but the "room fairy" - we never saw anyone during our stay!. It's 2 - 3 minutes drive out of Strahan...

The view is amazing but the window rattled all night with the wind the bed had been well used sank into the middle but the biggest disappointment was a bedspread which doubled as a doona so it was very cold no pillow slips on the spare pillow and no blanket in the room no one to track down to speak...

Our room at the Gordon Gateway was very spacious and comfortable. It had a kitchen with everything you would need and the bathroom also was ok. The furnishings are a bit dated but everything was clean and comfortable. The room had a lovely view over the river and Strahan. Its on the other side of the river to the town...
