Second time here. My husband and I had dinner here. Food was 5 star. The service that Tabby have us was 5 star as well. Can't wait to return. We will celebrate our 20th anniversary here for sure. Will say at the castle as well.

Spent a weekend there for my friends wedding and had the most amazing time! We went on the ghost walk with Jimmy and it was awesome! The food at the event center was delicious! The entire place is awesome!!

We stayed overnight at Landoll's castle on Labor Day weekend. Our suite was one of the Highland suites, and was very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the deck as well. The grounds are well maintained, and there are many interesting areas in which to relax.

We spent one night at this castle and now we are definitely planning many more visits. We stayed in the Lawrence Suite and it was stunning. Every room was steeped in a timeless décor and architecture. The lighting and celtic music upon entrance to our suite set the tone for the stay...perfect bliss for our get-away. Tristim at the front...

Several years ago we wandered up the drive to check "The Castle" out. It had a great setting, fun architecture and great proximity to Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm and the Amish area. But it looked tired and not polished. We were told there was a fire and lapsed insurance coverage. It was obvious the place was in decline. Christmas...

What a great night at Landoll Castle. First we did the ghost walk with Jimmy (omg can you say awesome) then a stop in the dining room. Our waitress Nikki was fabulous. I highly recommend this for a Friday or Saturday night!!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary in the Miller suite. Every detail was thought of ahead of time. Gorgeous views from every angle. Our only regret was a missed opportunity to eat at the Gordon Ramsay themed restaurant due to a wedding event. We definitely plan on a return visit!!

This is the second time we stayed at the castle. We enjoyed a second floor room with a private balcony. The room was amazing with a skylight and Victorian furniture. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent. We will be going back again and stay in a different suite they each have something different to offer.

Visiting this place since we were in the area of Loudonville. I was here before maybe 15 yrs ago. The place still looks majestic, a mini castle in the forest. A beautiful place to have a garden wedding. Wish we had more time to look around and dine in the restaurant. Will plan to stay in one of there castle...

This is a neat place to stay and enjoy nature. This is in a beautiful part of Ohio where there are many things to do outdoors. The views are breath taking in the fall with the foliage. The restaurant isn't bad either. Gordon Ramsey came through and helped it out.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Landoll's Mohican Castle provides a boutique hotel experience in central Ohio. The Castle contains 11 uniquely designed suites with fine furnishings that fit the style of an old world castle. In addition, there are four adjoining suites in a separate building called the Highland Suites. Finally, there are two free-standing cottages. The Highlands and cottages have been built to fit the theme of the large suite rooms that are featured in the Castle. The Castle Event Center is the largest of its kind in the Mohican-Loudonville area, seating up to 200 people in banquet-style seating. The Event Center and The Copper Mug Bar & Grille restaurant recently hosted a filming by a Gordon Ramsay television show. The result of this experience was a complete redesign of the menu for the restaurant and wedding events. ... more   less
