Enjoyed a splendid taster meal with accompanying wines for each course. The restaurant runs taster meals several times each year, and this was the first time we were able to manage to be around when the date came up. It was worth the wait, as the menu was interesting and inventive, and the meal was excellent without being overly fussy...

Excellent food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Best lamb I've ever eaten with a good array of beautiful veggies! Other family members had salmon and beef, which were equally delicious. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Would definitely recommend!

We have eaten here several times: the owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about their food, which is cooked by their two sons and is always excellent. Book, it can get really busy! Use the restaurant fairly regularly especially on our way back from Salisbury

A good place to stop off if you are taking the old road to Salisbury or maybe on past to the A 36 and then M27 to the south coast of England from the West country. Plenty of parking and room in the restaurant, the old house has a shaded garden alongside a Wiltshire chalk stream in which to relax...

The Riverbarn Restaurant enjoys‘Old World Charm, accompanied by Modern British Cuisine’ which has maintained an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence since 2014. It is proud to be ‘Recommended’ in The Michelin Guide 2015 and 2016. We are fortunate in living close to the Riverbarn and as newcomers to the area have made it our mission to try as many pubs and restaurants in the area as possible. Not one other matches the Riverbarn for consistent quality. This family run restaurant, mum and dad 'front of house' with Jonny.(Head Chef) and Tom, (Sous Chef) completing the...

Overnight stay breaking up the journey from Devon to East Anglia. The location was great - beautiful rural setting just off the A303. Our room was a decent size with en-suite shower room. Fresh milk was offered on arrival for tea's and coffee in the room which I thought was a lovely touch. Jill the host was very welcoming. We...

This was our first visit to the restaurant but it certainly won't be our last. We were recommended by friends and went for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was perfect - the food and service from the family run Riverbarn was brilliant. We were made to feel really welcome. We chose the a la carte menu and...
