The Ivy Tree Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Oberlin. I plan on returning as often as possible during the next few years visiting my college daughter. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, the common areas are charming, and breakfast in the dining room was a treat. Special kudos to our delightful hosts and congratulations on your...

This was our second stay at the wonderful Ivy Tree Inn with our hosts Ron and Steve. We arrived late both times, and they made it easy for us to settle in and then check in the next day. If you prefer historic; unique; and quaint, this is the place. Breakfast was like being at home. We'll be back.

We had a really great stay at the Ivy Tree and Garden. The rooms are spacious and cozy and breakfast had a personal touch. We are from South Africa and the proprietor was especially friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend the Ivy Tree Inn!

I had the rear 'magnolia' room and loved it. The decor was lovely and the size was just right. Had my own private bathroom but got to interact with the other guests and hosts during breakfast services. Just outside of town and campus but close enough to walk and explore. Would definitely recommend and I'll definitely stay again.

The Ivy Tree Inn and Garden"...the name alone promises rest and relaxation. While the big white house with its postcard ready, picturesque gardens suggests the same, there is nothing as sweet as the welcoming feeling of home when you walk in the front door. During our two-day visit, we had the pleasure of staying in the Magnolia Guest Suite with...

The hospitality at Ivy Tree is wonderful. The home is clean and comfortable. The guest rooms and bathrooms are small but well appointed. Parking is cramped, especially if you have a vehicle larger than a compact car. Wifi was fast and reliable. Gardens are beautiful but there isn't much space to sit outside. The location can't be beat if you...

The Inn was delightful and filled with classic Victorian furniture and furnishings. We were treated like royalty found our accommodation clean, comfortable and educational. We were impressed with the Oberlain community that surrounded the historic College and its campus! A true Midwest Treasure. The Inn was the ideal place for us to get a real flavor during our stay.

Ron extended us a warm welcome. The front room was clean and spacious. We most enjoyed the effort put into serving a nice breakfast a pleasant stay in Oberlin. We definitely would recommend staying there instead of the local hotel, perhaps even after its badly needed renovation.

We stayed here last-minute without a reservation, but the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. A gorgeous, well-kept old house with a wonderful, spacious room. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was yummy, and fun too with conversation among fellow guests and our host. Would definitely recommend this place.

I've never before been to a B&B where the hosts never made an appearance. It was self-check in, which was fine, and there was a note on the staircase that night saying they were gone for the evening and leaving an emergency phone number. That was okay too. But no one was there for breakfast, either. No note of explanation....

I am sure this was a 1 night stay during the week, when I was on vacation. In this situation,I explain to guests in advance that Steve ( other owner) is a landscape designer and will set up the breakfast before he departs for work at 7:30am. And he does do a lovely job of setting up breakfast. He leaves...
