This was our first experience at Glenlaurel Inn but it will not be our last. We stayed in the MacTavish Cottage. When we arrived to the cottage it was everything I had researched it to be online. However, it far exceeded my expectations in person. As we walked in the front door, there was Scottish music playing softly throughout the...

We sincerely thank you for your review and are glad you had a fantastic time. You have captured the heart of Glenlaurel so magically, from the ‘turn off your phone kind of place,’ to our talented chefs, and Scottish heritage. Have fun dreaming for your next visit; we look forward to seeing you both again soon.

Having heard of the Glenn for several yrs, we decided to give it a try. A Scottish themed property is not what you might expect in the HH area. First- Tracey & her staff do a fantastic job of service. The place was completely booked on our weekend so it is obviously popular. Some couples told us they have visited...

Thank you for your review. It’s so nice that you were able to splurge and enjoy our dining event! We pride ourselves on the dining event…from the food to the service; there isn’t anything else like it in Hocking Hills. The crofts are indeed a guest favorite, while being both cozy and elegant, they are private as well. See you...

Surrounded by nature yet close enough to fine dining, good company, outdoor activities, and town. Be prepared to put your phone down and close your laptop. Leave the TV off. The visit to Glenlaurel should be about enjoying time in the present with those around you. Everything else can wait. It took me a minute to understand that. Glenlaurel Inn...

We take great pride and joy in being able to offer the escape that you experienced. I typically am not the kind of person who writes reviews, but we just booked ourselves for a second trip to Glenlaurel (for our honeymoon weekend in May) and so I wanted to spread the word about our first trip last year that made us want to return. We stayed on a snowy weekend last February in the Mackenzie suite,...

My husband brought me here for my birthday. It was quiet and secluded, and the food is excellent! We stayed in the Wallace cottage, which had a living room with microwave and fridge, bedroom with king-sized bed, and fenced-in hot tub on the patio behind the bedroom. The bedroom also had a DVD player hooked up to the TV. The...

Happy birthday again. We’re so glad you chose Glenlaurel and that you enjoyed your stay…a quite trip with seclusion and excellent food is a perfect birthday trip! We strive to provide a ‘get away from it all’ resort and our complimentary DVD library is a great way to see an classic movie or watch something new. Although we can’t control...

Glen Laurel is a terrific place. The inn keeper is superb. The staff is friendly. They even remembered from our last stay that I was allergic to coconut and modified my fruit compote without being asked. The accommodations are clean well appointed and welcoming. It's quiet here. No TV (but you can watch DVDs of you must). The jacuzzi tubs...

My husband surprised me with a two night stay at Glenlaurel in November. I was very excited to see the area, as I've never been to hocking hills before. I told him to pick something that I would enjoy, and I know he tried his best. He chose the MacGregor room in the manor house and I wish he would...

We eloped at GlenLaurel and we couldn't be happier. The staff was amazing and very accommodating to our last minute celebration. We were astonished by the romantic cottage, the food, the atmosphere, and the grounds. We truly felt that we were in a Scottish fairytale. We are excited to return next year on our anniversary and each year to come.

The GlenLaurel has a pretty good thing going on here but I will put down all the good and the bad. I see that the management reads all the reviews and I am sure nothing will be done because of my review, but this is for the traveler not the owner. First the Good: 1) Staff were all friendly. 2)...
