This place is so nice that I'm reviewing after 2 of our 3 nights. We were upgraded to the Rose room by our wonderful hosts, very spacious with beautiful furnishings. Breakfast so far has been amazing; eggs Benedict one day, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon the other. Both times accompanied by fresh fruit and hot out of the oven muffins... More

My father, husband, and I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. It is a formal house that is elegantly decorated. We stayed in two bedrooms upstairs. The green room was quite spacious and the bathroom equally so. There was a lot of storage for hanging clothes and a dresser for folded clothes. My only complaint about the... More

We had a lovely overnight with Jon and Cindy Komark at their lovely B & B in the center of Sandusky, Ohio. The house is an old Victorian, filled with wonderful furniture and collectibles of all sorts. Our green bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The location is great for exploring Sandusky, but also apparently for those who are there... More

My son purchased a room for us at this B&B for our 50th anniversary. We couldn't have been more pleased! Jon and Cindy are terrific hosts and we had interesting conversations with them. The house has been refurbished and we felt that we were living in luxury. As a piano teacher, I was particularly interested in the 1865 piano that... More

We stayed at the Simpson-Flint house on a trip to Cedar Point and some of the Lake Erie wineries. Jon and Cindy were amazing hosts with great recommendations for dinner as well as a delicious breakfast each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend others check out the Simpson-Flint house!

Stayed here on a trip to Cedar Point. Arrived early in the morning and picked up a key so we could let ourselves in. When we returned that night, we were greeted by one of the proprietors who cheerfully conversed with us and made us feel at home. Even though we were tired from a day at the park, it... More

This place is a gem. A couple of huge rooms you can get with massive baths, very quiet and non-chalant location that is close to everything from the marinas, restaurants, and piers. People are very nice and seems to have availabilty pretty consistantly

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Simpson-Flint house is, and what amazing hosts Jon and Cindy are. Staying here completely made our trip and it will not be forgotten. My husband and I traveled to Sandusky for the Cedar Point triathlon and I couldn't be happier that we stayed at this B&B instead of one of the other... More

We had a wonderful experience with our Labor Day Weekend stay at the Simpson-Flint House. Jon and Cindy are fun and interesting hosts. The Victorian home is beautiful and filled with antiques. We stayed in the Green Room and were very comfortable. Everything was immaculate, the breakfasts were superb - Cindy is an incredible cook! When we travel, we always... More

The Simpson-Flint house is conveniently located near the ferry and amusement park in Sandusky, making it a hot commodity in the area (especially if you're interested in avoiding chain hotels, like we do!). Breakfast was good, our room was moderately clean, and the hosts were friendly. Rooms could use a bit of updating, and the bed could be more comfortable.... More
