Beautiful Christmas decorations and friendly staff. Snacks and breakfast right down the hall. Fitness center small but nice. Clean and well taken care of. View breathtaking. Conveniently located to several businesses.

We recently stayed at the Carlisle Inn, our "home away from home". Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean, as always, but the stains on the carpet, the toilet seat that desperately needs to be replaced, the worn out mattresses, and the shower issues show the apparent lack of upkeep....

Stayed here 2 nights while visiting the area. Staff went above and beyond in all respects!! Room was clean and comfortable. We had a front view and it was fine, although the back view rooms do have a slightly better view. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the rooms are getting a little dated and could...

The country side comes into your room as you relax and rest while staying here at the Carlisle Inn. What gorgeous view you have of the Amish countryside surrounding you. The beds for us were a little stiff (but that's our backs ;). Nicely prepared rooms with staff ready to answer any questions. Continental breakfast is not overwhelming, however, the...

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Amish Country. It is more modern than I expected, with elevators and beautiful decor. The room was clean and smelled nice. I loved the jetted bathtub and mineral bath packet. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The Der Dutchman restaurant is right next door.

If you want to see the best view in Holmes County check out Carlisle Inn. Ask for a room that overlooks the back--with a balcony. We've stayed here before, and just recently we stayed 3 nights. All that was left was a different room each day, but they were very accommodating and moved all of our luggage so it was...

Decided to splurge on our road trip. Stayed in honeymoon suite. Spoiled ourselves. Pricey but nice. Would come back, but stay in lower priced room. Enjoyed spa bath, pastural view off our balcony. Comfortable bed. Stayed only one night, so didn't need kitchen area.

I stayed here twice and loved both times. They are accommodating beyond belief. The rooms are large and very clean and comfortable. You can tell they take great pride in their hotel. There is a large room at the end of the hall for light refreshments. Playing games and just meeting people. Our stay was very pleasant. We had a...

I stayed here for four nights and can honestly say it was super comfortable. I judge a quality inn by its cleanliness and personnel and Walnut Creek excelled in both. A fine continental breakfast was served, along with homemade cookies and fresh popcorn in the evening. The views can't be beat ! I highly recommend it.

We visited one night in August for a "girls'" trip to Amish country. I regret not planning to stay two nights. Since there were 4 ladies, we booked a suite--2 separate bedrooms with their own baths with a small living area in the middle. The living area included a sofa bed which could accommodate 2 people--giving this suite the possibility...
