I absolutely love this hotel! I travel for business to Columbus almost every other week from Cleveland...I've stayed here about 10 times now. The theme is pretty cool as well (Lake House Theme) the interior of the lobby and decor are on point. The rooms are very modern and make you feel like you're staying in a very upscale hotel. The rooms are always clean, basically, everything is very clean especially the shared space. My favorite thing about this hotel is the staff, especially Matt. Matt and the rest of the team really understand hospitality. I rarely leave reviews but I was compelled to write this one because of the consistent amazing experience I have every time I stay at this hotel. It's also right down the street from Ikea and Top Golf...you can actually see it form the hotel. I have 2 more business trips planned this month already and I'm taking my family there for the this weekend (March 13-15) so I really really do love this place. I hope Matt is working! But honestly, everyone on the staff is pleasant and accommodating.

What a nice, stylish and clean hotel. A lot to like here

Location is excellent, close to I71 and Polaris -but not in a crowded area. Tons of restaurants in a 3 miles radius
Location seems very safe
Cool style to the lobby, hallways and rooms.
Hotel seems quite new and tastefully decorated
Large shower and bath
Great bed, slept very well
AirCon/Heater seemed a little noisy, that was the only drawback

I am an avid traveler, particularly Marriotts which in my opinion, expe⁹rience, and trained customer expectation is THE BEST.....but this property speaks to a standard that you will see as to quality of bldg, elevators, beds, everything including a

My family and I visited Columbus and stayed here for four nights. Upon entrance of the hotel, it was gorgeous. Very modern and welcoming. The check-in was easy with no complications. Well this is pretty much where the “wow” factor ends. Yep, at the lobby.

The rooms are super small. So if there is three or four of you, be prepared to be cramped and literally bumping into each other. I only wish that was the worst of it, but it does not stop here. The room was very unkept and definitely not clean. Due to covid, when staying in hotels, I immediately go in and wipe down countertops, headboards, etc., with disinfectant wipes. The headboards were filled with dust and I don’t know when the last time the counter tops had been actually wiped down.

On to the bathroom… the shower was a mess. This hotel is all of two years old and there is rust spots all in the floor of the shower. Yep, mildew on the sides of the shower and the grout on the bathroom floor was horrific. Then to top it off, the toilet seat did not fit the actual toilet, so your legs are on the rim of the toilet because the toilet seat was not the same size of the actual toilet.

Then I move to inspect the linen and of course, a spot in the linen that appeared to be dried up blood. I call down to the front desk and this sweet receptionist answered and apologized and offered to change our room. I explained that I just finished wiping down the room with disinfect and if she could have someone come up and change the linen that would suffice. Well the housekeeper and the housekeeping manager arrived. The manager went on to explain to me, almost with an attitude, how that is oil from the dryer and it was not blood and sometimes that happens. Blah, blah, blah… I don’t care what it is, your sheets should be spotless. Anyway, the sweet front desk clerk offered me 5,000 points for my inconvenience.

Unfortunately, this hotel is not worth the money. I gave it three stars because the staff was very friendly and they did take off a whole $20 for the inconvenience of the fire alarm going off at 12:30am and everyone had to evacuate the hotel for nearly 45 mins to an hour. Also, the wings from the restaurant were very good. Otherwise, they will not see me back at this hotel every again.

I had booked a two night stay for a special weekend trip and was given the Presidential suite which was assigned to my reservation two days prior to check in. The day of check in I received a message in my Marriott account chat that I had been booted from that room which had been assigned to me because they decided to sell it to someone else. All’s the wanted to offer me was a regular corner room and a bottle of wine which I don’t even consume alcohol no want. Called the hotel and spoke to the very rude manager Millie who flat out said “Well you’re not getting that room now, you will have a corner king room” Millie was unwilling to take responsibility for her staff’s mistake. She also could not keep her own story straight citing the room was booked online by someone despite it had already being assigned to me then changed her story saying It was given to someone else as an upgrade. As a titanium member I have spent thousands with Marriott even through the COVID-19 situation and this is the treatment I received for my loyalty. I will never return to this hotel nor recommend it to friends or colleagues who may travel to Columbus. I even called Marriott’s customer service line and the agent sided with me saying they should not have given the room to someone else if I had it first though there was nothing the agent could do.

This hotel looks brand new and it's kind of random they put a Renaissance hotel in what looks like the middle of nowhere. Nevertheless, a coworker recommended I stay here, and I got a great room overlooking a pretty pond with a fountain with an awesome walking path going around it. There's also a fire pit and chairs outside running 24/7. As a side note - seems like a good idea to turn this off at some point....But the room was great, reception allowed me to check in super early (10:30am), and I called and requested a microwave and they immediately brought one up with no argument or charge. For Marriott gold and platinum members, they have a concierge lounge serving breakfast and hor d'oeuvres around dinner. The last night I was there, they even served shrimp cocktail! And they serve lovely desserts too. The hotel has a bottle filler if you want to bring your own water bottle and refill it, a nice gym, and an indoor heated pool! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. FYI for government travelers: this hotel is NOT in Franklin County to qualify for the Columbus per diem rate! Learned this the hard way...

The hotel and stays were always great until recently. Last month I was on a work trip for the week. As I always do I placed the do not disturb sign on the door. One night I went out for dinner with my co workers and returned home to a strange surprise. There was a random microwave that had showed up, apparently dropped off by a hotel staff. The problem is the microwave was sitting on top of my active 2 smart watch that was on the charger and now the watch was not functioning.

Mistakes happen as we know so I wasn't upset just disappointed. I brought the microwave down to the service desk and explained what took place. The next day the manager, call her A.D was helpful and assured me her GM was taking care of it. I heard nothing for a few days. Until I approached A.D again at the front desk. She stated there was a letter for me and handed me a business card from that envelope. Basically she wanted my info as well as the watch info i.e proof of purchase.

I happily provided her with such via email and she replied with "thank I awarded you with 7000 Marriot points as well as reimbursement they were working on"

Ok cool they will take responsibility right? Hell No!

Instead a month has gone by and no reimbursement regardless of the emails I sent asking for an update. I was referred to the GM's voice mail and I don't expect a response. Basically they gave me 7000 points for a $300 watch they damaged and won't take responsibility for careless staff. Talk about a run around then some.

The points are useless because I choose not to use the hotel ever again. Mistakes happen but people and business have to be held responsible.

Beautiful property, new, clean, contemporary, crisp. My next statement will be weird, but, the halls are amazing. The lobby is open and gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed.

Matt was amazing in responding to requests and helpful in communicating the needs of my stay to the team. A huge thank you for his help and customer service.

James exemplified perfect customer service when asked a question and fulfilling the request EXACTLY as would be expected at a luxury property. A huge thank you to both of them for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here due to proximity of Polaris and TopGolf. Located in a business park so the hotel really stood out.
Only interaction with the staff was with the lovely girl at check in. Wish I could remember her name. She is expecting twins :)
Housekeeping did knock on our door the morning of check out which was kind of annoying. We still had an hour and a half before we had to be out of the room.
Beds were comfortable and room was large. I didn't care for the barn door attached to the bathroom. A young child could get their hand slammed by it if they aren't careful.
The lobby was modern and funky. Wish we could have stuck around for happy hour or eaten in the restaurant.
The pool although small was heated and there were plenty of chairs.
The outdoor seating area looked nice.
My only slight complaint is the lack of parking. We got back to the hotel later on Saturday night and literally got the last spot. Maybe there is an auxiliary lot?
I would stay here again.

Just returned from homecoming weekend at The Ohio State University. As it was homecoming weekend, the hotels we were usually staying at in downtown Columbus were charging astronomical rates. I came across this hotel on the Marriott Bonvoy App, and it was reasonably priced and very well reviewed. After staying there for two nights I can certainly understand how well deserved the positive review were. We arrived around 8:30pm Friday night and even though we had received a mobile key, the front desk provided me with two plastic swipe keys. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and open and had a bar and viewing area where people were watching sports. Also playing in the background was music which added to the modern vibe of this hotel. The hallways of the hotel are immaculate and quiet and when we entered our room, it too was immaculate, modern and very spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom area were very spacious. The room was well lit and had an "Ocean Beach " theme throughout. The thermostat was easy to use, and the room was very comfortable. When we went to visit our daughter at Ohio State the next day, we walked through the rest of the hotel to exit, and we saw one event room nicer than the next. Upbeat music played throughout the hotel. This hotel is only 20 minutes from Ohio State and about 10 minutes to the airport. There are plenty of restaurants around the area too. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again when we come and visit!
