I have stayed at the Wooster Inn twice over the past year as my daughter attends the College of Wooster. Recently the Inn became independent of the college, but the ties are still strong - in fact the college reserves all the rooms on some weekends for special events - so book early! The management is thoughtful - giving me...

OK, if you're stuck on walk in closets, jetted tubs and cookie cutter properties, don't bother. This place could be in Yorkshire as well as Ohio. Close to Wooster college, not walkable to the village center. Heavy plaster walls, serene setting, all tile lavs, huge patio overlooking golf area with tent covering most. And no elevators so if you pack...

The Wooster Inn is a great location. As stated by others the staff, Pub, dinning room and wine/library are outstanding. Please visit these places, but as far as the lodging I'll be staying someplace else. Our room had no temperature control, unless you think using the window as "control." our room was very dated, like turn of the 60's to...

Wonderful location. Nice facility. Helpful staff. Attractive rooms. Ok bathrooms. BUT UNBELIEVABLY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS! Like sleeping on a slab of granite. I have stayed twice, but I don't think I can come back.

This is the on-campus inn which caters to the townspeople and the college community. Staying here was the idea of my husband and the room was as quaint as I expected. Extremely clean (and comfortable) queen-size bed room and bathroom. Older furniture. A few spots of paint peeling on the baseboards. In warm weather Friday night gathering on the patio...

The Wooster Inn typifies the "college inn" establishment. It's on the edge of the Wooster College campus and is a friendly, comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly. The rooms are small and a bit antiquated (if there's one with a decent shower, we have yet to find it), but comfortable and cozy. Breakfasts are a rather standard "continental...

Extremely disappointing, ordered Wellington with pesto sauce and it came out smothered in marinara and was cold. Will not return better places to go in town. Server was pleasant and I felt awful for her because it was out of her hands,

Say in the main dining room looking out over the golf course. The drinks and dinner were excellent. Have been here twice and it is a treat. The vegan meat loaf I got was really good! Good beers on tap along with great service. Can't go wrong dining out here.

To start, be aware that the Wooster Inn is historic, which means that it does not have all the amenities that you may expect. It is delightfully quirky with small rooms in odd configurations, but it is the best inn in Wooster. There are, of course, newer, cheaper options, but none of the chains have half the character! The food...

This hotel is linked with Wooster College. Pardon my use of "linked", but it is an appropriate term since the hotel adjoins the college's golf course. The inn itself is not of the modern mode. The rooms are small--especially the restrooms--but clean and with the expected amenities of plush towels, fine soaps, and comfortable beds. There are rooms on the...

“Handicapped persons should specify the first floor when reserving. Also ask for a golf course view. There is a least one second floor room with an adjoining large sitting room. It would be great for group gathering, such as families, who occupy more than one sleeping room.”
