There was "no room at the inn" several places on the route and finally we pulled into the Carolyn Inn at 3:30 AM. We were greeted very graciously and the room was clean, not new while very comfortable and the shower/tub provided plenty of hot water for all of us. Internet and cable and a refrigerator, fast food nearby. There...

The room smelled bad,the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, linens and pillows smell as if never washed, no light bulb in one of the lamps. The rooms are way overpriced probably due to the fact that it's the only Motel in town.

Back a second time and will be the last. Our first stay here was very good. Read my review from earlier this year. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Absolutely no complaints there. Our room this time was a another story altogether. Everything in the room was grimy to the point that we hated to sit on...

We stopped here after driving a long time. It was before midnight, we ring the bell, a very rude nightgowned clad lady came to the window, you could tell she'd been sleeping, we asked how much for a room....$65! Ha! They should pay you to stay there!

after a break down on I44 that yielded a surprisingly pleasant experience with the tow truck person and the shop doing the repairs we found the only place in town is the Carolyn Inn. Not that the others were booked - this is all there is. Nice folks Mr. and Mrs Patel but they have no concept of what clean...

My daughter and I booked for 1 night, then decided to stay 3 more nights to visit relatives in the area. It's a small family run business. Always clean and comfortable, nothing fancy, just the essentials. The owners are always friendly and accommodating. I will stay there again, even if there were other motels in the area.

At first glance the Carolyn Inn isn't very impressive but the price was comparable to a lot of chain motels. However when we opened the door we were very surprised to see how nicely decorated it was (nostalgically old but cute country) and how clean it was and that it had a fridge AND a microwave. I would stay here...

overly expensive, no continental breakfast. We were traveling with young children and needed to stop for the night before continuing home the next day. Over $70.00 for 2 queen beds, no refrigerator, just an unplugged microwave in the room. This should have been an economy room priced around $50.00. Not over $70.00. Only good things is the rooms were clean...

This hotel is very close to the interstate. I came in late, left early, so it served it's purpose. Typical low budget motel. At $60, a bit overpriced but paid due to location and time of night. The bed was reasonably comfortable. I noticed a glass of milk in the fridge and extensive frost too. I find such lack of...
