We had not stayed a t Quartz Mountain Resort since it had burned down and rebuilt 15? years ago. The resort is on the western end of the mountain chain and the views around the lake are great! The main lodge is a large western log structure with excellent Native American art plus other artists. The rooms are very nice...

View of lake and mountains was breathtaking. It was the best part of the trip. Rooms are outdated and musty smelling. Rustic does not mean shabby. Food at restaurant was okay nothing great but edible. A little high priced though. All in all a great getaway close to the DFW area and I will go back for the relaxation but...

Great time with my wife. Wonderful mornings. The view of the sun coming up over the lake breathtaking. Food ok and very reasonable priced. Good place to relax and kick back. We go there two times each year for the peace and quietness.

The service was ok although the waitress spoke so softly it was difficult to hear her. Other than the dead pan attitude of the waitress , the food was ok. I didn't think the food tasted good, but it was ok.The view is the best part of eating here.

Quartz Mountain Resort and I have a lot of history and I am saddened by my last visit in January. I have been here more than twenty five times since the mid 80's and have seen it go through several phases and a catastrophic fire only to rebuilt again. a couple of years ago it was a great place to...

The rooms are cozy. The decor is nice. The food is wonderful, but the best part is the scenery! If you are looking for a place to decompress and recharge, look no further! Watching the sunset and the sunrise is best overlooking the lake. Make sure to request a room on the ground floor with a lake view that way...

A beautiful resort in a unique location in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is not just flat. We were surprised by the granite rock Wichita Mountains. These are no Colorado Mountains, but very beautiful and rugged. The resort is on a lake and a very picturesque. Has a full service restaurant, bar, library, and store. The rooms are somewhat dated, but adequate, with...

Clean and comfortable room with authentic lodge atmosphere. Restaurant food was good, but a little pricy for the buffet. Lots of activities nearby. Great surroundings, beautiful lake and mountains. Would like to go back when the weather is warmer.

Solo visit in March 2012. Purpose was photography and hiking the trails up the rock highpoints. Room faced the very low lake. I brought along a cart because I had read about luggage carrying from car to room to require a bit of effort. I enjoyed the scenery and hiking into nearby valleys. Restaurant was OK. Would consider another visit...
