This was our first stay at the cabins . We tried to make reservations back in the spring for thanksgiving weekend, but they were booked for the whole week. We left our number in case they had a cancelled, never expecting to get a call back, but they did call us the week before. Took the granddaughter on her first...

I took my mother, sister and daughter for an overnight in cabin 1. What a wonderful time. The cabin was secluded and fantastic! It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing and clean. Lots of trails to hike almost outside the door. We are so looking forward to going back; even thinking a New Years trip!!!

We chose this park because it appeared to be the most convenient camping to the Tall Grass National Preserve. It was well maintained with clean bath and shower facilities. It's a small park with just a handful of camper spits, a few tent spots, some cabins, and a group camp. When we arrived there were people in each area, but...

It was almost 8 p.m.—too late to get a campsite anywhere. I pulled into Osage Hills State Park anyway and drove down the rolling wooded hills from the entrance and into…the nearly empty campground. I backed into a large tent site and settled in for a quiet night. I talked with a couple in a 5th wheel, the only other...

I brought my Boy Scouts through this area on the way back from an event. We chose this location because it was close and we are happy we did. This is one of the better campsites we have been and we camp a ton. This place is perfect for hammock or tent camping!

Stayed in a cabin and enjoyed every minute of the weekend. The entire park was clean as was the cabin we rented. It appears that cleanliness and appearance is important to the management. Enjoyed wading in the creek, swimming in the public pool, and kayaking in the beautiful lake. Everyone from age 5 to 50 in our group had a...

This is a really nice, well maintained, quiet and restful park. Full accommodation for RVs, tent camping or primitive camping. clean bathhouse with hot water, wonderful hiking trails along the creek with overlooking bluffs. There is fishing, boating, tennis, a swimming pool in summer, group camping options and a conference center large enough for large family reunions. No golf. I'll...

We camped here in the fall. It was so peaceful and relaxing, as it wasn't overly crowded in the tent area. We hiked around the park the next morning and saw several deer! Great place to camp in peace!

The campgrounds were well-maintained, the Rangers and staff were all friendly and very kind, and the bathrooms were so clean with SOAP and PAPER TOWELS. I have camped many places and usually the soap in the bathrooms is the first thing to go. We will definitely be back. Thank you Osage Hills!
