We were there for a house concert so it was a night of entertainment but they stay was also very nice. The rooms are very nice. The owners are very inviting and nice people. It was just an overall pleasant stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Stayed in the Texas Room and really enjoyed both spending time with the hosts and quiet time to ourselves. We will definitely be back! Love the place, the surroundings, and the people.

After driving over 1000 miles in two days what a treat to come "home" to Chaparral. We stayed in the lovely Texas room , a most comfortable king bed, comfortable chairs and a delightful deck with lounge chairs to just lay back and relax. Handsome bathroom with great tile work by Andy. Then to wake to the smell of coffee, and...

Coming from a big city further north, I had low expectations for a hotel in Watonga, OK. Stumbling upon Chaparral Retreat and Guesthouse was the absolute BEST thing about my trip. Extremely relaxing and I was thoroughly entertained with every possible personal touch.

We stayed in the Oklahoma room, which was cozy. We were able to see both the Texas and New Mexico rooms and all were a thumbs up. The remodeling work is just perfect! It...

Meet your hosts, Andy and Linda Barrett; two of friendliest folks you will ever meet. Come learn the Roman Nose history and the settling of west, from the first land run through the second. They tell a great story. 10 stars out of 5; it's that nice
