This was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were gracious, the breakfasts delightful, and the rooms were everything we hoped they would be. We wanted a rustic experience on our weeklong trip to Northwest Oregon and this was the perfect place. The drive down the Historic Columbia River Highway, that led to the lodge set the tone. We walked... More

We found this place through trip advisor and are so happy we gave it a chance. The accommodations were very cozy the staff super friendly & breakfast delicious!! My only suggestion is that they update the radios in the rooms to something that will allow iPod hook up since music is the only entertainment & most people don't leave home... More

We stayed in adjoining rooms in the cottage, which were very cozy and good sized. The carved wooden beds were made up with really nice flannel sheets and warm blankets. The bathroom was small but nicely done, with the washstand in the bedroom area - handy actually. There were built in window seats and large skylights, so the rooms had... More

right at the center of many attractions in the area. We stayed at the cottage. The breakfasts were just what was needed to get you ready for all the waterfalls, hikes, attractions in the area. Janet the owener was very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in the cottage and had a wonderful time! The decor was quaint and very well done. The overall feel of the place is relaxing and just generally nice to be in. The skylight and reading area by the window were great touches. The staff (Janet) was very attentive, when needed, and made a delicious breakfast! My wife and... More

A wonderful place to stay. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms on the back side of the location. The room a beautiful skylight and a wonderful deck to sit on and enjoy a cup of coffee. The breakfast was delicous and made fresh daily. There is no TV, but why do you need one when you are on... More

We had a cottage room with a glorious skylight. It was so nice to wake up to the green on the trees above us. The lodge is super cool, especially as it's been in the same family for years and has lots of family treasures. The breakfast was perfect and from scratch. Keep in mind that there isn't a tv... The lodge is on the old historical Columbia Gorge highway and has some great antiques from the 1920's. We stayed in the West Room which was well appointed and comfortable. The bed was nice and we slept well. However, the place missed a warmth required for a B&B of this type. Using a toilet down the hall is not my... More

We are so sorry that you did not fully enjoy your stay ! We only have one guest room that does not have a bath in the room. It's always best to book early so you can get the room that you want. Once again, I apologize because you did not find breakfast satisfactory. The breakfast that we served that... More

My husband and I were on a ten-day road trip to Portland. I knew how beautiful the Columbia River Gorge area was from a previous trip, so when looking to book lodging, I knew that's where we wanted to be – away from the city in this beautiful area near the many falls. We were not disappointed! Our two-night stay... More
