Great folks if you are in a car; At River's is THE PLACE if you're iin a RV. Best lower river (Chetco) fishing is right at your feet! Have stayed there for close to 6 months ... no reason to go elsewhere .. fish in the river; rod rigged!! At R's Edge is one mile up from the Ocean, first...

Our visit could not have been more delightful. Everyone commented on the practicality of the facilities for our group. For instance, every cook coveted that behemoth of a stove; the TV room was a brilliant idea because it kept a certain age group entertained and kept their messes relatively confined. Every fussy baby had a room in which to fuss,...

I would give more stars if I could! If you are looking for a dog friendly place away to get away from it all and say in a comfortable cabin on the banks of a pristine river look no further. It is off grid, has all the comforts and is close enough to town if you need to run in...

I've since returned to my routine in Los Angeles, but my mind keeps drifting back to this magical place in Oregon. My family spent three nights in the stone cottage and wished we could have stayed forever. We miss the river, the gauzy clouds draped over the lush mountains, the drizzling rain, moss covered trees, mushrooms, the pigs, the peacocks,...

My husband and I stayed at the Rock House for 3 days last summer. Rock House is a separate cottage near the larger Chetco River Inn, which can accommodate larger groups. What a place! We loved swimming in our own serene little spot, walking, collecting rocks, and hanging out on the patio with a glass of wine and a good...

What a blessing and a miracle, pictures really dont do it justice. We had all ages and 4 families in the Inn, the kitchen was big and open so you werent isolated when...

It's a weekend I will never forget! The kids walked along the Chetco River, we played card games in the cozy living room, and taught them how to build a fire;) There are lots of trails minutes away and the river spot was perfect! Kid friendly. Animal friendly!! The Rock Cottage is comfortable and cozy. The Jacuzzi tub is great...

During our recent stay at the cozy riverfront Rock House, we had a great time hiking the property trails and along the river. My wife and I especially like overlooking the romantic vineyard and enjoying a warm fire at night. We'll definitely be returning to The Chetco River Inn again soon...

We just spent a week at the Chetco River Inn with our baby and 2 year old, along with Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and we ALL had a blast! There's a "beach" along the river directly in front of the lodge which provided hours of entertainment for the kids and the river is smooth enough that it was a great...

We loved staying at the Chetco River Inn over the 4th of July- the amazing beach and swimming hole were perfect with kids. The grounds and Inn are lovely and private. This is a great place to have a family reunion or wedding.
