We travel to Burns several times a year to go birding around the area and at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. We prefer to stay at the Horseshoe Inn because it is quiet, clean, and has nice rooms with everything we need. It is a couple of miles north of town, so you need to plan your food/eating situation ahead of...

We stayed here two nights to do the Steens Mountain Loop Road. It was perfect for that. Reasonably priced and clean. Throughout all of my reviews of this area I will say "you have to remember where you are". This is a pretty remote area of Eastern Oregon. There is not much out there. I would absolutely recommend do the...

The pros: Clean with cute western decor. Quiet location just past the edge of town. Good value. Girl at front desk was very nice. The cons: The bed in my room bowed badly in the middle and wasn't comfortable. I was given a room on the end as requested, but I also requested that it be cooled off before arrival....

Never go looking for a motel in Burns again! The HorseShoe Motel, about 2 miles north of Burns, is a wonderful little place to stay. The owners are sweet, Duke the very large German Shepherd greets you to make sure you're safe and then goes back to his room. The rooms are super clean, fairly large, and has all the...

Burns is a small town in rural Oregon and our expectations were not high for this property. My man-friend had stayed here several years ago & said he'd never stay here again... Then, we heard that there were new owners & that they'd spiffed up the place, so we decided to try it again. WOW!!! Unbelievable!!! We had a king-sized...

We were so exhausted when we arrived we didn't get to walk around - and had to leave when we awoke. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. The room was clean and quiet, and the horseshoe shape of the inn is quite unique. There is a grill and bench out back - would make for a nice...

Just outside the north side of town. Beautiful modern rooms in an independent establishment at a very modest price, free wifi, non-smoking room, large parking lot, front desk friendly and helpful. What more do you want? We'd stay there again anytime!

Owners are so kind and helpful. We broke down on our way through town and they were very accommodating. Rooms are clean and it's right off the highway. The parking lot is huge! Great place for people with trailers, motorhomes or large trucks.

This was our second stay here, separated by about two years. The place continues to improve; rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable. For us this is clearly now the "value-priced" leader in the area. I actually thought I should go an pay them more omg our way out, they are actually under-priced for the value you get there.
