House located on the main drag so a bit noisy, but convenient to walk to wine tasting etc in village.Bed was a social event i.e.we rolled into the middle on a very soft mattress. Karen was not accommodating for breakfast schedule. Had to be nine am unless you were with a bike tour for whom she made a 7 o'clock...

What is disappointing to any innkeeper is a guest that doesn’t appreciate all that we do to "help" make their stay a wonderful experience, and makes wrong assumptions rather than asking for clarification. This guest requested information prior to their visit, which was happily provided. His wife had dietary restrictions that included no eggs or sugar; and rather just serving...

We just finished a two night stay at this wonderful inn. Spotlessly clean with a hearty and delicious breakfast. Innkeeper Karen was a delight. Well located in downtown Carlton with wineries in all directions. Can't wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Carlton Inn. The breakfast was amazing with fresh herbs from the Innkeeper's garden. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. If you are staying over the summer I would recommend a room with blackout curtains as the sun rises around 5 am. The king room downstairs did not have any when we were there so...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way through Carlton and we are so pleased that we had the opportunity to experience this delightful place. The Carlton Inn is beautifully and tastefully decorated, making it a homey and comfortable place to stay. We stayed in the Dundee Hills room, and it was perfect - comfortable bed,...

Think of this place as like staying with a really good friend, who also happens to be an awesome cook. First off, the house itself is charming, clean and cozy. It is obvious that Karen (the owner/innkeeper) puts a lot of time and effort into making the place look great. Our trip was fairly packed with events, so we didn't...

Thank you for all your wonderful comments Alex, and for noticing all the little details. It was a real pleasure meeting you both. I'm so glad you enjoyed your accommodations...and yes, aren't those Comphy Sheets the best! Doesn't hurt to have a comfortable mattress to put them on as well.

My wife and I stayed for three nights. The room and bed were the most comfortable of our trip. Karen makes wonderful breakfasts and we had such a great time there. Carlton is centrally located to a lot of wine tasting in Willamette Valley. We loved it and will go back again!

My husband and I stayed one night and Karen was so warm and welcoming it made us want to stay longer. The breakfast was also top notch. The bed was so comfortable after a long drive from wine tasting in Prosser Washington. The location also wonderful, within walking distance of tasting rooms, resturants and market. Thank you Karen!

The Carlton Inn Bed & Breakfast is in the perfect location to explore Carlton and the surrounding areas. In fact, one day during our stay it was super hot (like 100+ degrees) so we drove to the coast to escape the heat. It took us just over an hour to get to the beach and then we were back in...

We had a lovely stay at the Carlton Inn. It was important for us stay in a place where we could walk to wineries and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. We learned a lot about the wineries in Oregon from Karen. We would stay there again.
