We stayed in Suite 4. It was so clean and well furnished. The weather caused fairly rough seas, so we didn't see whales but the waves were mesmerizing in themselves! The surf is fairly noisy-- just like we like it and it was thrilling to watch the Coast Guard navigate the channel in that choppy water. Breakfast is absolutely superb... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 22 July 2016

We stayed in the Admiral suite, room 1, 2 nights from 20th July 2016 as part of a tour of Washington and Oregon. The room is spacious and comfortable and has views out to the ocean from both the room and private balcony. We had the added bonus of whale watching from our room, the whales came very close and... Lovely! Relaxing in the hot tub, looking for Whales and watching the coast guard boats pass through the channel. Beautiful room with blazing fire while eating cookies baked earlier in the day is a great memory. The inn is immaculate and inviting with the ideal location on the ocean. A great couple of days!

We stayed 6 nights in the Admirals Suite. This was a huge splurge for us and was well worth it. The view cannot be beat, we relaxed in the personal outdoor hot tub each night, watched Coast Guard go in/out of the harbor on drills and simply had a fantastic, relaxing week. The staff in it's entirety are second to... More

We just stayed at this property for the first time and will be back! We stayed in the Whale Watch room and it was so warm, cozy and romantic I don't mean cozy like small, because there was plenty of room for the two of us. There is a separate bedroom that looks over the ocean. The waves were crashing... More

From the moment we pulled in to the parking lot and saw whales nearby in the water we were captivated with this place. The desk attendant came out to help us bring in our luggage and was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and the view was second to none. The bedrooms over look the water and you... We stayed over the weekend November 4 through 6. The location is fantastic - the smallest harbor in the world plus thats where Overboard was filmed (and I am a fan!). There were several rooms to select from when I made my reservation(btw do it in advance, do not linger, rooms go fast!), and I picked the one on the... More

What a delightful B & B right on the ocean in Depoe Bay with an unbelievable view! Sarah greeted us and attended to our every need, plus ideas for restaurants and places to visit. Although we intended to see some whale, would we ever want to leave ... as we were greeted with a churning ocean, and 16 foot waves... More

The Channel House is located at the mouth of the smallest inlet in the US. The inlet has all the fishing chatters and the US Coast Guard in the inlet. The location is excellent for front row viewing of the boats entering and leaving the inlet from your balcony which contains a large, private hot tub. There are only 12... More
