Just spent three nights at Hotel Diamond. We keep returning about every other year. We love the area, but it VERY remote. Fortunately, after a day of adventure on The Steens Mountain or at the Alvord Desert, the Hotel Diamond offers rest and repast.

Gracious hospitality in a quiet, sleepy little town. Really good food. Assigned seating for dinner. Ask for one of the two rooms with a private bath. I highly recommend Diamond Hotel and would stay here again. Much better than the Frenchglen Hotel.
