First of all, there is Kyle, the young, charismatic owner of this property. He seems to set the tone for the whole experience here. He remembers each guest's names and makes them feel welcome in every way possible. The whole staff seems to love to work here and the feeling is contagious. They appear eager to tend to any needs. I...

Being a native Oregonian ( I know, rare breed) I've always wanted to stay at the Tu Tu Tun Lodge and finally took the "Big Step". My husband and I enjoyed two wonderful nights at the Lodge. Helpful doesn't begin to describe the staff; everyone was very friendly and eager to please. The cookies and liquid refreshment in the afternoons...

I had Tu Tu Tun lodge bookmarked for a long time. Over the years I revisited the website numerous times and read all the reviews. My husband and I finally had the opportunity to visit last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. Since we were there during the off season (when they don't serve dinner) we chose to stay in the...

The Tu Tu Tun lodge is in a great location overlooking the river, with a classic, well designed reception and lounge room. We received a warm welcome and good wine and cheese by the fire etc on arrival. The sort of place where professionals turn up in their BMW SUVs and gather for polite conversation dressed in turtle neck sweaters,...

Beautiful setting and uncrowded. Tu Tu Tun off season was well worth a visit. The service was low key but beautifully done. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine and nibbles in the late afternoon. We will return and next time stay for three nights as there is much exploring to do from here and Tu Tu...

Gold Beach has a golden resort in Tu Tu Tun Lodge, named after the Tu Tu Tunne tribe of this area. We visited in early June, and the weather was perfect, with a shining river, blooming flowers, and green grass all around. The only missing ingredient was biting fish, but the resort was so lovely and the company so charming...

We arranged our stay on a spur of the moment, when we saw a prediction of lovely weather. The weather cooperated, but the lodge turned out to be the star of the trip. We lucked out and enjoyed a special wine dinner. Sumptuous! Kyle and his staff are amazing, they remembered our names; they were happy to respond to every...

While the Lodge is out of the way, it is simply wonderful. Nothing about the place, from "Woody the Cat," to pickled asparagus and home made hummus in the afternoon with wine and cheese, to a perfect "hand mase" breakfast in the morning (the oarmeal case is not to be missed), is not less than perfecty presented. The staff expertly,...

We rented the River House with our family at Tu Tu Tun Lodge in Feb and it was fantastic, The house is great and lacks nothing EXCEPT a fireplace. They have a fabulous fireplace in the lodge though and the food at the valentine's Day dinner was great with wonderful guests. We love the happy hour with wine and appetizers....

Kyle and his staff were fantastic and they made our stay unforgetable. The service and room were impeccable and the meals were some of the best we have ever had. They thought of every little detail! The view of the river from your bed was spectacular. We can't wait to go back!
