It's always refreshing to see a place that actually lives up to the pictures and reviews online - and this is one of those times. We stayed in unit 32 in the North building and it was simply beautiful inside and out. Perfect layout, stylish furnishings, very upscale feel, and well-stocked kitchen. My only complaint would be the noise level... More

The Grand Lodges at Collins Lake Resort are AMAZING!! We rented a 3 BR/2bath for 6 adults and 4 children and was perfect!! Fantastic kitchen/dining and living room areas, big bathrooms and a laundry room! Beautifully appointed. Loved our stay there for 3 nights with kids and grandkids - close to sledding and skiing.

We stayed in Grand Lodge 5 for five days of winter fun. The lodge was very comfortable for the six of us plus our two little dogs. The lodge is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We cooked most meals and ate at the generous sized table. We loved the view of snow covered trees from our window. We enjoyed the... More

This was our third stay. Our church mens retreat was great. We have been able to reserve room #22 everything time. It has three bedrooms with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is very spacious and a large dining room table for everyone to gather around. My only complaints were getting to the pool from the room. You have... More

Overall, these are high end luxury units and we would return in a second. We were in unit 25, a corner Penthouse and it fit our needs. Excellent main, open living area, with high beamed ceiling, but did lack ambient light or even suffice lighting in general. We did have chairs on the deck and a BBQ. Kitchen was luxury... More

My husband and six kids from our local (California) high school's ski team stayed at the Grand Lodges (unit #5) for a week while the kids attended Timberline Snow Camp each day. We were totally impressed with the facility, as well as its convenient proximity to charming Government Camp. The six kids could walk up to town for ice cream... More

My family stayed at the Grand Lodge over the 4th of July holiday this year. This was the first time staying at the lodge though we have stayed at the adjacent Collins Lake resort in the past. My experience was considerably different from the generally positive reviews here on Trip Advisor! Though the unit itself was quite large and well... More

We first stayed here in December, 2013. It's a great place. But, they were having some issues with converting their television system (from cable to satellite, or something like that) and the pool was out of service due to a broken frozen pipe. They promised to make it up to us on a future stay and they did. High class... More

We stayed in the penthouse unit at the grand lodge and it was exceptionally nice in quality however, it was just like renting a stand alone cabin. I was under the impression that there was a concierge and such. There was one very nice woman who worked the "front desk" 9-5, but when she went home, you were on your... More

“If you are going for an extended period, reservations are very willing to negotiate their rates. The building in the back is closer to the highway and the building up in the front is closer to the pool and the road that runs through Government Camp. We have only stayed in the penthouse suite in the back building, but did receive a very good rate. I am told the front building can get hot from being directly in the sun. Either building is great though and both are right next to each other.”
