Booked through Booking.com, our room was advertised with tea/coffee facilities - didn't exist. Hotel advertised with fitness centre - didn't exist. 'Parking available' - yes but on the street at a cost of $7 per day!

We were really excited to stay here and sadly kinda disappointed. The lobby area was nice and warm with a large fireplace. Cookies at check in always a great treat. Elevator was cool because it was old but stairs were easier to use. Our room...More
We stayed here mid week for my husband's birthday and drove to Mt. Hood Meadows the next day. Hotel was quiet, staff really friendly and we got the romance package which included a red rose and champagne breakfast for two. Breakfast was delicious, but for...More
Although the view of the river was a little marred by the pizza place below, this hotel was great. It's an old, historic building that has a fantastic restaurant attached to it. It was clean, cozy and located downtown. You could pretty much walk to...More
Lovely room. Clean old charm. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Nothing too fancy but bed was comfy and room was clean. Wished we had a coffee maker in room. We would definitely go back. Great price!

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
