Located a block off away from downtown. Is well furnished and wonderfully kept. Quite and private, yet within walking distance of downtown Jacksonville, with plenty of shops and restaurants to wonder thru. Definitely plan on going back.

A perfect place to stay in Jacksonville! It is beautifully and tastefully decorated with more than enough room for a couple to stay, along with all of the amenities you would like – refrigerator, coffee machine etc. perfect location as well – off the main street but only two blocks away to everything. The hosts are attentive but allow your...

Elan was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. We were thrilled from the minute we arrived. Exceeded every expectation-beautiful decor, spotless, every amenity a person could desire, great bedding, very spacious, and a perfect location. The photos do not do it justice. The hosts are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We visited Carmel, Napa and San Francisco in...

Thank you for visiting Elan in Jacksonville! It was a pleasure to meet you, to learn a bit about your travel experiences and first hand knowledge as property host. Enjoy the sunny skies of Florida this winter and be sure to return to Southern Oregon's seasonal extravaganzas, soon! Best wishes and happy trails!

We have visited USA many times and to celebrate our Golden Wedding we decided on one last 'road trip' wending our way from Seattle through Oregon, Napa Valley and finishing in San Francisco. We stayed in 12 hotels during our month long holiday and ELAN was the star of the show. I suspected we would regret staying only one night...

First of all Jacksonville is a charming, friendly place to visit. The Elan Guest Suites are the perfect place to stay. Cherie was a perfect host; friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Suites are exceptionally clean and well appointed, not to mention beautiful. They are in a perfect location to the quaint downtown with the wonderful restaurants and shops. I highly...

In town for the wedding of close friends who know my taste and recommended Elan. It's a small property (3 suites), but it has everything you could ever hope for and it's walking distance to all the high points in J-ville. Upon my arrival, Cherie guided me to park in the guest garage, loaded my bags into the luggage lift,...

Wanted to stay in Jacksonville for a concert at the Brit and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Walked just 2 blocks to the concert with a Deer and her Fond! A deer also showed up on the grass area behind my room. The room is one of the best I have experienced. High celings, stereo with phone...

Thanks for choosing Elan! The deer are certainly Jacksonville nomads. They roam from yard to yard or accompany guests to the nearby Britt music venue, as they did with you. We love that you traveled to Jacksonville and enjoyed The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band 50 Years of Dirt performance. Bravo! However, we enjoy our guests' return to Elan, whatever the...

This was my second visit to Elan. I went first with 3 girlfriends 5 or 6 years ago. We had such a lovely experience that I determined to come back again with my husband. We took this trip from California to Oregon partly to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and Elan was the perfect spot. Cheri and Dwayne gave us...

My only regret was only staying one evening! The suite was modern immaculate warm and inviting. Jacksonville couldn't be more charming. Our host made dinner reservations at the restaurant Gogi's which was also sensational. I can't wait to visit again and stay at Elan!!!

Artistically appointed with original paintings from Cherie's son, Gabriel, Elan Guest Suites is a masterpiece. The decor could be a photo shoot for Architecture Digest. While Jacksonville has a plethora of turn of the century farmhouse B&B, there are no contemporary boutique hotels like Elan. The 3 rooms all have a balcony, full kitchen, comfy bed, and full bath. Greetings from Elan! Thank you for your artistic description of the Guest Suites. We pay the deer big 'bucks' (no pun intended :-) to strut their stuff for guests lounging on the balconies. Elan is perfect for celebrations, staycations, business or retreats. We look forward to your next visit - whatever the reason. See you soon!
