We have stayed at this motel multiple times before. You can't beat the location and the price is well below what you will pay to stay on the beach at a different property. The rooms are not as fancy as other places, but they are clean. The fireplaces are nice, as are the rooms with balconies. We stayed in room...

The Sandcastle has become my go to place to stay in Lincoln City. Every room has an ocean view, which is great because let's face it, that's what we're here for, and there is easy beach access from the motel. The Sandcastle has a great location at the south end of Lincoln City away from the tourist traps, traffic, and...

This place is wonderful. Right on the beach for plenty of ocean-watching action. During high tides, the water can come all the way up to the seawall right in front of the motel. During real low tides, there are many rocks with tidepools within walking distance. Motel staff have always been helpful and courteous. Some of the furniture is worn...

You get what you pay for... Although, the property and beach access is amazing! I wasn't to pleased that you have to leave a tip for the housekeepers. And the shower had no head so the water pressure was nuts. Great location.

I took my teenage daughter and two of her friends to this hotel for a birthday celebration. As soon as we entered the room, we were thrilled! The beach-side of the room was all windows, offering a sweeping, breathtaking view of the ocean. It was stunning! I had assumed that I'd have to share one queen bed with my daughter,...

Nicely situated right on the beach. Older motel, it was pretty clean, reasonable price. But we had some issues..the WiFi did not work well in our room. We had to go out in the breezeway to get internet. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. But if you plan to use the microwave take your own plates and...

We had a one night stay via a deal site (g-place) and ended up staying two nights, as this is a great family style place. This was thanks to Kristen (the best!) who even found a way for us to not have to switch rooms for the second night. This gave us a few extra hours which we used by...

We agree with many of the other reviews. If you want basic beachfront accommodations at a fair price, this is the place. All rooms face the ocean. No elevator, but walking up the stairs is good exercise. The highlight is the view of the Pacific and relaxing in front of the gas fireplace or on the balcony. Off season rates...

If you are looking for a classy hotel with a lot of amenities, this isn't it. But if you want an inexpensive place for staying at the beach, this is the place. The view is amazing and the sound of the ocean all day and night was very soothing. When I go to the beach, I want to see the...

This is a bare bones hotel , except for the cozy fireplace and sound of the ocean we listened to all night. The whirlpool was not working , and that was a bummer! The view and walk on the beach, right outside of room, was amazing!
