Consistently good food. great wait staff. Had the vegan slider which I would definitely order again, so tasty. The rooftop has a wonderful view of the rolling hills a great restaurant any time of the year.

I have stayed at multiple McMenamins over the years and I love what they do with old buildings. There are always fun a quirky things to look at all over the hotel with excellent service. The only complaint I have would be the noise which I am sure is their main complaint. There were ear plugs next to the table...

Had a really good experience at Hotel Oregon. It is cool place to visit due to all the whimsical paintings on the walls, the cute bars and the friendly staff. We were there over St. Pat's Day and there were lots of musical performers. I get the feel that musical acts regularly play the Hotel. The food was excellent in...

We stopped for lunch following a trip to the Oregon coast, finding the personnel to be welcoming and outgoing. Lunch was tasty and specific to this location so do check out the menu online. Since one bar was closed, we will return to get that stamp for our passports at a later date.

I am glad you enjoyed your recent visit to Hotel Oregon. All of the menus at the hotel properties vary slightly but I hope you were able to find something you enjoyed. Our location actually has 2 bars with limited hours so please check out our web site for current days and times they are open. Cheers- Dani Chisholm Hotel...

From the basment bar with live music to the top of the hotel with panoramic views, Hotel Oregon has it all. This is an old historic place, so the walls are thin and the music is loud. It's the perfect spot to crash with your friends or romantic partner. The breakfast downstairs is soooo good! I've stayed here several times...

We stayed one night so we could walk for wine tasting. Love this old hotel! Bed was very comfortable. We made sure to find the bathroom/toilets before leaving our floor - you share the large bathroom for some of the bedrooms. This is what McMenamins are like: historic and share. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, inside - it was dark...

I guess I like them. Every time we stay at one of their hotels we have fun. With small rooms, shared baths and funky decor they will not please every one but we like them a lot. It beats the alternatives in McMinnville by a mile. The food here is over priced and there are other choices nearby. The staff...

Very cozy retreat for couple, great food, service, rooms are great, atmosphere is perfect, will go back many times. Would love to stay for a full week and explore more wineries. It's never to far to drive for such a great place to relax

I love this place. I've been here several times. My wife and I like to spend a weekend here once in a while just for a little getaway. The hotel must be close to a hundred years old, but has been beautifully remodeled. Of course, being an old hotel, the walls are a little thin (can be noisy) and the...

First off - to give some context, I own a 110 yr old Victorian house, so I very much appreciate the character of old houses/hotels, and their architecture. However, this place creeped me out from the minute we walked in. We were looking for a place for two nights, while checking out wine country. To be fair - The staff...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On McMinnville's charming, old main street, Hotel Oregon strikes an inviting pose - as it has since 1905. Once home to a restaurant and lounge, banquet hall, Greyhound bus depot, Western Union, soda fountain and beauty parlor, the handsome four-story building we call Hotel Oregon is a delightful destination in the heart of Oregon's wine country.Warm lighting in the first floor pub, cozy tables and an impressive 40-foot long back bar invite close conversation over the glint of a fresh pint or maybe a game of shuffle board in the Paragon room. Artwork and wall hangings inspire thoughts of the past and a trip to the subterranean bistro-style Cellar Bar or magnificent Rooftop Bar (with its breathtaking 360-degree view of the region) are a must for any visitor to the hotel. ... more   less
