We only were able to stay one night but it was perfect. Once parked, easily, we were able to walk to dinner and breakfast. It was cool watching the morning fish deliveries come in. Must eat at Local Ocean Seafood. Best crab cakes ever!

Situated directly on the bay front you are I the middle of it, with a nice pub and restaurant just below and loads of sightseeing around. No breakfast but two bottles of beer in the fridge. The apartments are fully equipped (stove, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine) and a small supermarket is just across the parking lot.

We wanted an inexpensive coastal trip with our 15 year-old and 2 dogs where we didn't have to worry about the dogs tracking in sand and had plenty of room for all of us. That's exactly what we got. As others have mentioned, this is not at all fancy. But, for us it was just right. We stayed in unit... More

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly, the room was huge, everything worked, free coffee and a free beer. A great base for checking out Newport. Wish we could have stayed longer. Central to restaurants and attractions, including the art deco district. Huge car park for travellers. We liked it so much that I bought a t-shirt. We had... More

I have wanted to stay here for years, they are super dog friendly, towels for doggie clean up bowls for water and food. So nice to be on the old bay front, close to all the fun things to do. We stayed on Saturday and went to the Mr. Bill's Traveling Trivia which was a blast. The service was great... More

We stayed in Unit C with two bedrooms (one a huge master) for 4 nights in December. We couldn't believe the improvements & can't wait to return. A fully outfitted large kitchen, deck overlooking the bay front & such friendly check-in staff & easy to work with Stacey. We can't wait to return. Excellent location!

When travelling with friends it is not always about you and what you want, so when our travel companions expressed a desire to stay here while planning a quick road trip through WA and OR after disembarking a cruise in Seattle, we were skeptical after reading some past reviews. We need not have worried, the 2 bedroom unit we stayed... More

We stayed only one night at the House of Rogue Bed & Beer, attracted by the name and the somewhat "funky" nature of the accommodations. I wasn't totally surprised that it wasn't the Waldorf; the price was moderate and there were pictures available on the internet. I did expect a clean, nice, quiet, comfortable place to get a night's sleep.... More

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 2 nights in August. Not sure what to expect as we'd never been to Oregon and Newport had several interesting accomodations. Very glad we chose this if for nothing else than the chance to brag to friends about staying in a Bed and Beer. The bar and restaurant downstairs have a great... More

After finishing my commercial fishing seasons I've always needed a place to unwind for a few days. From 2005 on I've stayed at two of the upstairs apartments (right side corner and the center of the building) always had a comfortable stay-and of course a lot of fun! The sampler tray at the pub was a great value, nice to... More
