As an affordable couple's getaway my boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights. We loved it! We were right near everything in the Alphabet District and literally walked everywhere we went (shops, restaurants, train station, Powell's). The owners were very friendly, giving us great recommendations and allowing us to store our luggage after checkout. The entire place was spotless. Our room...

We stayed here for two nights in November 2016 and were very impressed. Check in was easy. A great residential area with close proximity to lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Although bathroom sharing is required, there were two bathrooms on our floor and it was quiet during our stay. The hosts were...

I stayed here 2 nights while in town for a conference. Check in was easy and the room was very clean. I didn't realize there is no reception/office area, but the host lives next door and can be contacted by phone. I was in room 6 and it was more spacious than I was expecting from the website photos. I...

One of my best stays ever! The house is beautiful and very classy, so well kept. The rooms, common areas, kitchen and bathroom are clean and pretty! We loved everything about this guesthouse, we couldn't image it any better. Our room was really spacious and ultra comfortable. We slept really well. Location is also great, in a quiet street in...

Nice sized room and very comfortable bed. Shared bathroom but never had to wait to use it. Handy to bus stop and a day long pass for $5 is great value. Trader Joe almost next door makes it easy to get food . I will look at staying there again when I return.

Our second stay at the Guesthouse and everything was great - clean and pretty rooms, easy walking distance to all kinds of eating, shopping, and other amenities. Bus and tram lines close by for adventures further afield, parking passes for on-street parking if you come by vehicle. We had trouble with the touch lock initially and the manager went out...

I can't praise this place highly enough. Thank you for providing such affordable accommodation in such a great part of town. My only regret is that we stayed just three nights. OK, here is why I loved it: the location. It is near so many bars, shops and restaurants. The surrounding streets have the prettiest homes and it's quite walkable...

This is a very well run guesthouse in an old mansion--its reputation is well deserved. My room was spacious, the bathrooms were clean, the owners were friendly and knowledgeable, and the location, right near the NW 23rd Ave corridor, couldn't have been better. I preferred this area over downtown, which felt a little impersonal. The value for what you pay...

This guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Conveniently located from shops, restaurants and Pearl district. Trader Joes and Walgreens are within walking distance. Close to Providence Park and easy access to Max and bus stops. Cereals, tea and coffee are stocked in the common kitchen area on 2nd floor. There are 2 flights of stairs. Just be mentally...

A clean, nice, great value guesthouse. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and there's a kitchen for use of the guests. Parking may take you time to find. Shared bathroom - clean as a whistle. The area is wonderful - lots of restaurants and cafes on it. 20 minutes walk to downtown Portland.
