One of my best stays ever! The house is beautiful and very classy, so well kept. The rooms, common areas, kitchen and bathroom are clean and pretty! We loved everything about this guesthouse, we couldn't image it any better. Our room was really spacious and ultra comfortable. We slept really well. Location is also great, in a quiet street in... Nice sized room and very comfortable bed. Shared bathroom but never had to wait to use it. Handy to bus stop and a day long pass for $5 is great value. Trader Joe almost next door makes it easy to get food . I will look at staying there again when I return.

Our second stay at the Guesthouse and everything was great - clean and pretty rooms, easy walking distance to all kinds of eating, shopping, and other amenities. Bus and tram lines close by for adventures further afield, parking passes for on-street parking if you come by vehicle. We had trouble with the touch lock initially and the manager went out... More

I can't praise this place highly enough. Thank you for providing such affordable accommodation in such a great part of town. My only regret is that we stayed just three nights. OK, here is why I loved it: the location. It is near so many bars, shops and restaurants. The surrounding streets have the prettiest homes and it's quite walkable... More

This is a very well run guesthouse in an old mansion--its reputation is well deserved. My room was spacious, the bathrooms were clean, the owners were friendly and knowledgeable, and the location, right near the NW 23rd Ave corridor, couldn't have been better. I preferred this area over downtown, which felt a little impersonal. The value for what you pay... More

This guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Conveniently located from shops, restaurants and Pearl district. Trader Joes and Walgreens are within walking distance. Close to Providence Park and easy access to Max and bus stops. Cereals, tea and coffee are stocked in the common kitchen area on 2nd floor. There are 2 flights of stairs. Just be mentally... More

A clean, nice, great value guesthouse. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and there's a kitchen for use of the guests. Parking may take you time to find. Shared bathroom - clean as a whistle. The area is wonderful - lots of restaurants and cafes on it. 20 minutes walk to downtown Portland.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I know I didn't think it would be this nice. The guest house was clean, cozy and wow, the location was perfect. I will warn you there are LOTS of stairs, so be prepared to lug you bag up them (we got very lucky and the owner was there when we checked in... More

We stayed 4 nights in room 5 - top floor of the guesthouse. The entire place was spotless clean. Excellent location - close to downtown and transport. Loads of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Best hot showers ever - never had to wait to use a bathroom. Price is exceptional for what you get. Very safe area - highly... More

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect when we arrived as it is a slightly different setup however everything about our stay was excellent. From the ease with which we could check ourselves in, the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation (everything including the bathrooms was spotless), the clear and simple instructions throughout and provisions in the kitchen and bathroom....
