My teenaged son and I stayed for the long weekend on a college visit. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms while shared, were spotless. In fact, we never would have known there were any other guests in the quaint abode. We spent our days walking into downtown Portland; it was about a...

To Tim, Thanks for looking after my son and his travelling companion so well in your very warm and comfortable guesthouse. A very good location in a quiet, but 'happening' part of the city with lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes and quirky shops. We appreciated the very simple and extremely organised way of checking in, the place was kept spotless,...

My wife and I just had a two night stay at this comforting and welcoming spot. It was out third stay here and we hope to return many times for its comfort, unpretentious welcoming atmosphere and convenient location. Its economy doesn't hurt a bit, either. Everything seems to have been anticipated including a night table and reading light on both...

My nine-year-old son and I stayed for six days in August 2015. Location, location, location... perfect for so many reasons. Whether you want the trendy shops, restaurants and coffee shops that NW 23rd offers you, or short walks to Providence Stadium (to watch the Timbers or Thorns play soccer) and Trader Joes, plus bus stops close at hand for transit...

The room is nice and clean, close to Fred Meyer and Trader Joe for everyday needs. You can make your own breakfast, there are bread, coffee and tea available in the kitchen. They also provide fresh organic milk, and three type of cereals. It has been a pleasant experience staying in Portland. There are great restaurants in the neighbourhood. The...

This place is a great value in a fantastic location. One block from NW 23rd Street with numerous great restaurants, I'd recommend Thai Bloom which is literally a block and a half from the guesthouse. And don't forget Ken's Artisan Bakery, freshly made breads and croissants and great coffee. Cinema 21 is also close by with first run and independent...

This B&B is great on so many levels. I can't imagine a better location. The owners are so kind and helpful. The price i right. Being a woman, I was a little freaked out about sharing the bathroom but they do an amazing job to help you feel like you are the only one using it. Guests are respectful. I...

Portland was always going to steal a piece of my heart, but I wasn't expecting a humble guesthouse in Nob Hill to play such a significant part in that! I stayed in Room 1 with my dad (one single and one queen bed, I think?) - room was large, clean and comfortable. The shared facilities share the same qualities. We...
