Some friends recommended we stay here during our visit to Portland. We are really glad we did! We rented the apartment for the week, which included a kitchen, living area and a bedroom separated by french doors. The space was basic, but nice. Some observations: The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a heater and a small but nifty shower....

We just spent 6 days there. Only downside was that the apartment is in the basement, which had a bit of a musty smell, but not a deal breaker. One other quirk is that the AC/Heat control is in the management's room just above, so if you are too hot or cold it's a phone call (not the end of...

My husband and I chose to forego the normal hotel and opted for a different experience. We had never stayed at a guesthouse, so we were unsure of what it would be like. It was great! Yes, you do sacrifice some of the niceties and extras that you get with a hotel, like your own bathroom, brand new furnitur, and...

Three of us stayed during a trip to the Northwest, and the accommodations were great. Even the twin single bed was comfortable! The neighborhood alone makes this worth staying, in walking distance of the fun Nob Hill area, and we walked downtown one night as well. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well and he was gracious...

Our room was huge with two beds and although it was hot the fan was good at keeping the temperature appropriate. The whole place was very clean and comfortable - like a home away from home. We had bicycles that we could store on the balcony off the kitchen - just a short climb from the entrance. It seemed very...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Guesthouse. My room was spacious and, like the bathroom and kitchen, clean and homey. Staying here felt like a home away from home. I encountered the owner Tim near the end of my stay, who personally cleans and looks after the rooms. Staff live in the same house downstairs and are always accessible...

This is a cheap option for staying in what can be an expensive city...I searched everywhere! Finding this at $70 per night was a bargain! The area is not far from pioneer square and downtown. I walked there and it was fine. Didnt take more than 15 mins. The surrounding area was awesome. Plenty of restaurants to eat lunch and...

We stayed here one night and found it in a perfect location. The room was large and check in was easy. All instructions were clearly posted and there was no ambiguity about how to check out, what food was for guests, etc. the staff was super friendly but I only talked with them on the phone. They happily stored our...

I am not one to normally stay in accommodations with shared bathrooms, but I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful my stay was at this guesthouse. Check in/out was very simple and convenient, the house and its amenities were a delight, everything was clean and well thought out, and our hosts were extremely friendly! If you are looking for a...

Super easy check in. The rooms were clean and the A/C was wonderful during the hot summer nights. The shared areas (bathrooms, kitchen, common room) were kept very neat and tidy by ourselves and the other guests. I appreciated that guest were allowed to keep a few items in the fridge. The only negative was that they had run out...
