Nice hotel, very handy to convention center and light rail access to downtown easy. Rooms comfortable but you do hear the train rumbling by. Try to get a room away from train side. Felt area safe to walk around at night. Café downstairs good and...More
When in Portland, I'll never stay anywhere but Hotel Eastlund. The thoughtful updates and attention to detail made my room a relaxing respite, but I was steps away from downtown's energy. Whether I walked into the city or took the tram (a convenient stop is...More

Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm glad to hear you had a great stay and we are your new home away from home! We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Portland.
This hotel has the perfect location! Right in front of the Convention Center and only a short train ride away from Down Town. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are amazingly comfortable. The restaurant at the top also has a breathtaking view.
It's a nice hotel, but very close to the street, and noise travels quite well. I can hear the cars and traffic below, as well as all of the elevator traffic because my room is right across from there.
This morning I woke up a...More

Wine country is a large area located south of downtown Portland about a 30 minute drive to the first winery. We are located just outside of downtown, a quick hop onto the I-5 freeway. If you want to be in heart of wine country, you should look at options in the towns of McMinnville, Dundee, Newberg, Salem, and Carlton.

The answer no one ever likes, it depends. I got there late one night, like after 8 pm. A block to the east there was plenty of street parking (NE Hassalo St.) with meters and no cars there at night. you could park here easily thru the night, but I do not know for how long in the morning unless you went and plugged the meter (not sure if it needed plugged at 7 or 8?) and do not know if they allow a car and trailer to take up two spots. Pretty sure they would not allow a trailer by itself. In short, at night there is space to the east. During the day maybe not so easy.
