I booked this room through booking.com. and asked for a top floor room. No mention of construction. When we arrived the front desk immediately informed us that the hotel was undergoing some remodeling (8 am - 7 pm, weekdays) on the 6th (top) floor. I...More

I apologize about the issues with the renovation. Unfortunately when booking through a third party they do not always mention this. If you booked through Marriott this was on the website. The top floor is currently being remodeled and there is some noise during renovation...More
Great place to stay if you are in the area. Surrounding neighborhood is a little “dicey” I would say so be careful walking at night.
We did not have or expect any problems but just be on your toes as my mother used to say....More

The hotel ended up surpassing my expectations. It's located within a few blocks of the convention center in a nice, but nondescript building. From the start with the valet, to the front desk who had my room ready early to the spacious room. I was...More

I have stayed here several times when attending a conference. It is a short walk to the convention center. Close to the train line if you arrive by train. It has a fridge in the room which is nice. I have stayed in a couple...More

This is a great property in downtown Portland. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant was very nice and the prices were reasonable. I would stay here again if coming to downtown Portland.

You can walk to Lloyd shopping center, it's a huge mall worth a look.At the hotel they have a shuttle van and will take you across the bridge, we had them drop us off at the train station. From there we walked a couple of blocks and hopped on the pink bus.I recommend this tour (about 33.00 ) it takes you up to the rose gardens, zoo, pearl district, and you can hop on and off anytime. I recommend the two day pass, few dollars more, take the trip and then plan accordingly for the next day. You also have transportation all around. Ask at the front desk and they will point you in the right direction.
